GOOD MORNING AMERICA'S HOMEPAGE:

And she still thinks she is victim..
exactly. what he had to go through was horrible. she thinks she paid it off and she is focusing on her own annoying events of the day. she is still caught up in her own experience. i dont care how drunk you are or how bad your day is, you don't assault people and you definitely dont assault strangers. its not normal behaviour
Did you see the crocodile tears from the sister. What's up with women pretending to cry to avoid accountability for their actions.
Black Glitter, agreed. I've had horrible things happen to me too. One was my brother getting killed by a drunk driver the day before my wedding. Plus, many others. I didn't abuse anyone, even if I drank alcohol. Part of her IS that "other" person.

Yeah, 100% spoiled brat and probably feeling superior to others.
Didn't even mention if she's sorry for what she did to the guy.

Houston Yu I actually look at this video in another light. I was working on a Hollywood film set and for the life of me, I thought I had great coworkers even had a friend till she found out that particular show booked me in for more days than her. My friend turned on me and threw stuff at me. I broke in tears and I thought I would never do that till I had a production assistant barricade me from getting into a set. I pushed him eventhough it didn’t hurt like how my friend threw things at me but when I realized what happened. I was so ashamed. I did feel ashamed for the production assistant but then he went to brag about his failed start up career and how he half asses his patents to investors. So apologizing was no more a priority on my list.
But reflecting, I was sad to see myself so arrogant and entitled. I was lucky there was only a witness but no footage of me unlike the latter.
From my understanding, she has moved on from this ordeal, has become a family doctor not a prestigious neuro surgeon, got married to a prosecutor and I’m sure she has learned a lot.
She does have to refrain from taking full responsibility on camera or writing it because despite paying for damages, she could still get sued. At one point in time, I was definitely against her but she didn’t kill anyone. I’m glad she was an example because people even like me screw up but we still provide jobs, we still give back to the community. I’m sure she has learned. It’s not like she’s ELIZABETH Holmes.
and her career now is affected

As a neurologist, she should know what alcohol does to your nervous system.
This is a criminal, a low life in a uniform and stethoscope around her neck. It's hard to believe it was a random incident. No way.
She definitely should have known better than to drink as much as she did and to use those other excuses of breaking up with her boyfriend and her father being in the hospital is no excuse for her actions at all and it pisses me off when people use the excuse of having a bad day to mistreat other people is not right at all, what ever problems they have is their own problem and no one else's.
Isn't that the truth....
You don't have to be a neurologist to know that. What even is your point? She should've known alcohol gets people drunk and therefore should have never drank in her life? or what? Your comment sounds like an unfinished thought.

Her boyfriend made a smart decision to get out of the relationship. I would never want to be treated by a doctor who is suppressing this much anger and disrespect, and then doesn't even own up to it.

There’s no excuse for treating ANYBODY like that, and you DESERVE everything coming to you. The sooner people are held responsible the sooner this kind of behavior will stop. I have never acted like that to anyone in my 46 years on this planet, and if I did I will have to accept the consequences. We need to stop justifying this kind of horrible abuse, period. Incredible how she actually attempts to play the victim during the interview.

Abc news should be ashamed to assist someone who is the agressor as a victim through the metodeological questioning that softens this case, just because she is a woman. I totally loose respect for anyone with this kind of double standard and moral. Imagine if this doctor was male and uber driver female, and same thing happened. He would had his licence revoked, as this behaviour is 100% innapropriate. As a doctor, sure their humans, but also a role model we trust our life @, and keeps our depest secrets related to our personal info and health issues. I would never trust someone who could act like this. Its one thing to have a small isolated case of verbal assault, or 1 non dangerous hit, and retreat. That's actually typical with medical doctors. They don't have respect for psychology. I've seen a lot of examples of this in my life.
Actually PTSD is more of a spectrum than people tend to think. Most people have childhood trauma in some form even if it’s more mild than trauma that others have faced. For instance I only realized recently how much of my negative habits and responses to stress were formed during middle school and high school when I was bullied. Not excusing her behavior but I’d be pretty traumatized if I sobered up to a video like that of myself going viral haha.
Sure. There can be all levels of trauma. But post traumatic stress disorder still requires a number of symptoms for it to be diagnosed. It was the way this doctor threw out that word while smiling. It appeared like she was exaggerating, which, on top of everything she has done, is just embarrassing for her. There are people with actual PTSD (not just trauma) for whom the minimization of the seriousness of this disorder is extremely harmful.

Sober, I’m actually pretty shy and laid back, and over think in public situations. Alcohol makes me cocky, overly confident, and think the world owes me everything. It brings up every bad thing that has ever happened to me.

I’ve not been drunk since April 2020
Yep, she got no punishment, not evening losing her job. If that had been a man the cops would've rolled up in two seconds.

Imagine all your friends and families seeing you in this light, this punishment is perfect.
She lost her job
But she did lose her job!
Why are they treating her like the victim?
Because of gynocentrism. They have been brainwashed and indoctrinated by current gynocentric feminazism. Sad, really.
BECAUSE SHE’S A FEMALE!!!
Because she is a victim of harassment. She's not the victim in the Uber video, that whole issue got resolved between her and the driver. The harassment she received afterward is a separate matter.

Clearly she doesn't know better that.... :P
The crazy think is that she wasn't that drunk, you can clearly see in the video that she was walking ok. Her reactions and the way she speaks didn't show that she was hammered. She is just an entitled fucked up person.

Her PR apology is ridiculous and insincere and the moment she started complaining about people saying nasty things to her, she lost me, are we suppose to feel sorry for her? Despite any issues she had or has, no way anyone raised properly and who is not entirely self centered and feel a large sense of entitlement in this world would ever act out or treat another stranger this way. Her work should fire her because if walked into her hospital and recognized her, in no way would I feel like I was receiving adequate care or feel she wold be able to make a proper medical decision for me (maybe she had a fight with her boyfriend).. Doctors and Nurses are held in a high regard to "NOT HARM" per their oath and general ethics. There is no way to erase this mistake. I would rather hear from the boyfriend, we would get the real story then on her behavior towards others, she is obviously self absorbed. I feel sorry for everyone else but her, she is mainly concerned about herself, thus the interview.
+Sydni so in the same logical thread, if the driver had punched her in self defence, ould you stand up for him and say he's a "human being"?
Sydni really? so you as a youtube bystander get to decide what level of self defence is unnecessary? cops pull out a gun and shoot civilians because they "think" they saw a gun in a guy's pocket and act that way out of self defence and its people like us in the "grand jury" who agree not to indict them
+Sydni she did lose her job. so yes it does make sense
The whole interview was about what ppl did to her,she feels entitled
She doesn't deserve any sympathy.
When she brags about her 5 star rating on Uber with that smile and smug look just goes to show who she truly is. She probably cares more about that than the guy she treated so atrociously
People should stop saying "I'm not that person". Yes you are and own it. BUT you may not be that person all the time. We all have bad days but we need to control our anger and frustration and NEVER hurt another person. But saying "I'm not that person" instead of just simply saying "I had too much to drink, I lost control, and I'm deeply sorry", sounds like you're not taking responsibility for your actions
This. Just be an adult, admit it, genuinely apologize and take responsibility. It's that simple.
Yeah! Preach, man! Or woman! 😉

For the Taco Bell executive to countersue the Uber driver shows he has no genuine remorse for what he did and is still trying to play the victim. Inexcusable. Disgusting.
He got caught and didn’t like that. He would have preferred the “he said, she said” where he could twist the story around. Funny, he stated “im not that person” yet goes on to sue. He’s angry and wants to compensate for his reputation. A narcissist at it’s finest
How could anyone, particularly an immigrant, or the daughter of an immigrant be so VILE towards another human. I'm disgusted
I heard ex Taco Bell executive was counter-suing for $5M because the Uber driver didn’t have his permission to video him. I’m glad there was a video to prove to him what he did for after seeing the video he’s saying that’s not him in that violent behavior. All Uber driver should have cameras in their vehicles for the passenger’s protection as well as the driver’s. There has been passengers who lie and say the driver attack them. Perhaps it’s an attempt at suing Uber for millions. Uber should have a rule against driver’s picking up drunk passengers for safety reasons. Some of the drunks can’t recall what they did so video camera is very necessary. I think those drunk passengers need police escort being public drunks and in some cases public nuisance.
@@monicagomez4616 that would lead to a lot of drunk drivers though if Uber doesn’t allow them :/
What a horrible person. There is NO excuse… she’s violent and entitled. Wouldn’t even want to have a conversation with someone this awful. Shame on the interviewer for the softball handling.
Honestly she did get away with assault. I don't care if the Uber Driver himself didn't feel it was assault. By legal definition it is assault. If you assault someone, you should lose your job. To compare being afraid to drink again to PTSD just shows how much BS she's pushing. I didn't believe a single apologetic word she spouted during this interview. The only reason she's "sorry" is because she got caught. Of course she didn't deserve death threats or anything like that, but she definitely should've been arrested and be fired. If she was the doctor to be helping me, I'd go somewhere out of state if I had to. No way would I ever let such a violent person treat me.
Likely she isn't receiving death threats. Everything she said was an attempt to make herself the victim, including the crocodile tears. Also based on her behavior, if she really had an ex, we would have heard in the interview how the ex would have been locked up; her behavior indicates entitlement, the type that would bring false charges to any man willing to walk away from her. Last Note: Interesting how ABC News disregarded gender and said, "assaulted an Uber driver", if it was a female Uber driver attacked, it would have made headlines because a "female" was assaulted, evidence that all men are aggressive and rapist. Double Standards...

I am not making excuses for her behavior, however, clearly in the video she was drunk, and she under the influence of alcohol.
There are people who behaviors are greatly influence by alcohol.
(I don't drink personal choice)
It should be taken into consideration that this was according to original post on UA-cam this occured 8 years ago or more approximately.
Therefore, When this actually happened
She said her father was in the hospital and she broke up with her boyfriend.
She apologized to the driver directly for her behavior.
She apologized on national platforms, and several times on television telecast, and she asked for forgiveness for her behavior.
She immediately paid for the damages to the driver vehicle.
She lost her job
She was threaten
She has been under public scrutiny and criticism since this incident actually occured.
And now it's about 7 to
8 years later, approximately, therefore she seemed to have highly matured in her behavior.
I have seen and we ALL HAVE have seen, and heard of Much worse behavior in stories and seen much worse behavior from others including online creators, celebrities, and others etc. and they apologized and seemed to have been able to fully move on without having their character placed in a perpetual judgment of others.
Therefore, Please consider thinking more positively, and open minded towards a Second chance for this woman.
She was much younger, and think about all of nonsense that college people do when they are young sometimes and if it was on online.
I think that it time to allow her to move on with her Life without this alcohol induced mistake looming, again There is so much worse behavior observed online in comparison.
This Woman has been demonized for this single mistake, she needs be able to move on Live her own Life with her family and friends WITHOUT continually being reminded and shamed, she took responsibility for her behavior and actions, and repeatedly apologized again and again.
It’s time to let this Woman Live her Life, with her Family, Friends without constant public backlash year after year.
Imagine if this a relative of yours would you be just as judgmental.
