This video is about a very simple but powerful technique to make raw gold mainly from older world quests and treasures. On a minute-for-minute basis this is the best raw gold-making method in WoW.

omfg the desmotaeron missed glide. I taught a lot of people to do that hopover, and more than once I was like, "This is easy, watch me!" and then I missed.
A ton of us get a huge kick out of seeing when folks like you and Hazlenutty put fails in videos. The relatability is through the roof ^^
When Hazel does it you can tell she did it deliberately so other people don't feel bad when they screw up. I just suck at doing stuff.

I still tell people to watch the kill-everything fury warrior buff stacking video and to make sure to listen to the list of steps especially because of the last one.
I was able to gold cap in under 70 days dual-boxing Darkheart Thicket, Dreamleaf goes anywhere from 10g-16g each, did DHT 100 times a day, made close to 200k a day in just Dreamleaf. (Not including blood of sargeras turn ins for Leystone Ore which goes from 14g-24g each) since then I haven't felt the urge to play WoW, just thinking of Val'Sharah gives me PTSD. I know this was posted previously, but just felt the need to re-iterate how prosperous and pain-free DHT is.
That's really nice. Suramar was my Legion PTSD zone, around The Nighthold was gank central. I would assume people are using herbs for the unique Legion glyphs (possibly also alchemy to skill). The ore possibly for the corehound mount. Will have to check how much the mats go for.
Yeah I'm aware Legion mats are lucrative. I'd do a video on it but I'm pretty sure anything with "professions" in the title would get no views right now,, Bliz kinda messed them up in Dragonflight. Ironically I suspect this is why the supply is low.
what realm did you got this prices? I only see dreamleaf for 7g, at maximum for 7.5g

@@oogway351 I'll have to check the prices on Proudmoore, yikes, shocking to believe that it dropped from a potential 10-15g per to 5g each in as little as 2 months. Might be an overpopulated farm spot now, damn. Then again they added the stupid mythic DHT dungeon which definitely fked the prices up since everyone and their damn grandmother is running that dungeon now.

I didn't touch retail a few years. rl and other distractions got me out of the loop since early shadowlands. Before that did grind legion docks a bit from one of your videos years back and had a blast. Now that itch needs to be scratched again a bit, am returning to War Within and am wondering if there is something similar simple like legion docks but in War Within? Maybe some BFA, Shadowlands or Dragonflight dungeon? I don't know if the follower dungeon feature might be changing things up and alts are necessary to have more than 10 follower dungeons per day.
The video is high gold efficiency which is great, like snatching up the high rewards quests with alts. For me it doesn't need to be that efficient. As contradicting as this will sound I don't like grinding alts but I do like grinding something like docks for a few hours, I know, it is just how my brain is wired I guess. I do prefer dungeons over open world as I'm sure I would get insta banned for grinding in the open world. I usually get whispers all the time in the openworld as I keep staying in location if the spawn feels good enough and could easily stay there for hours, but to not upset wow-karens have to consciously move and get back to quest begrudgingly. Maybe that is one of the reasons for the heavy use of alts to switch around and don't get reported for just simple grinding?

great video! I actually use your old raid farm strat as my weekly gold driver now. Its fun, fast and i can do it easily on multiple alts. Definitely going to augment my run with some of these tips.
Yeah that works fine but you will definitely make more doing things like the Maldraxxus treasures and the Ardenweald chest.
@@archvaldorTrue, My issue is i do gold farming in about 30 minutes on my steam deck, anything else and it gets sidelined due to my play time constraints.
To add even more for Dragonflight stuff, this is a lot of words, but i assure you it's worth it.
3 WQ doesn't show up as gold :
-Field of Ferocity this GUARANTEED gold reward, despite WQ not showing as one. (which i think you mention in previous video)
-Suffision Camp WQ, it show up as Rep reward but SOMETIME it also reward gold 1000+ gold infact, you just have to mouse over it and check the tooltip.. THIS ALSO BUFFED BY DREAMSURGE!. Not only that, there's a chest you can open for 800g extra (more on this later)
-Spellforge Creation, Cobalt Assembly, Azure Span. This WQ sometime pop up, this is kill a rare boss WQ and just like Suffusion Camp, SOMETIME have gold reward despite not being shown as one. You just have to mouse over it and check the tooltip.
Suffusion Camp and Obisidian Citadel, have weekly quest that sometimes reward gold.
Suffusion Camp, on the hub there's 3 Weekly, almost all of them is easy to do and can reward gold.
The mini boss give you a key, get 3 of this key and open the weekly chest (should pop up on your map, it's near the boss). Fyrakk Disciple boss also drop this key, but this boss pretty hard, most of the time people do kill it, so if you see it dying just kill it. Using the purple ward to spawn the mini boss also give you a key.
WITHOUT THE WQ, It is NOT worth farming the Wards and spawn mini boss yourself, a lot of time there's people farming there and spawn the boss for you. Hop on and get some free key with no effort.
ALSO ALSO, the rare that spawn with yellow ward, SOMETIME also give you 600g+, so if you see someone spawn the rare, kill them (very easy to kill). Can't quite figure out if this gold is weekly or not, but it's very random.
Obsidian Citadel, have 6 Weekly. 3 from your choosen Ally, and 2 from other and one from the forge guy, right in between the 2 Ally you choose (right upstair of where Wrathion key turn-in is). THE REWARD IS DIFFERENT FROM EACH TOON! So some character might not have gold at all, so have to check them manually. They're incredibly easy to do.
HOWEVER the 2 rare quest is not worth it UNLESS there's some spawn already. They have stupidly long respawn time, like 45 to 2hr. random too.
I don't think grinding for 3 Key Casing and 30 Fragment is worth the gold you get from turning them in. the Key Casing have low drop.
HOWEVER, they're guaranteed drop from the rares, so if you see rare kill them for Key casing, and you would naturally build up some from doing the weekly.
They key turn in is around 800g.

Shadowland's only problems(which are big problems) were the time gating and content draught, the actual content it had ranged from good to excellent. Oh and the story...

There's an animaflow transporter to Des, bought with stygia. Also, I recommend the addon World Quest List to get a easy readable and sortable list of all world quests.
That item works well. I didn't mention because that type of option with multiple stages is rarely well received since it tends to exaggerate the difficulty involved in obtaining it.

Are the Shadowlands covenant anima quests worth doing (when your renown is max, they give over 1K each)?
Worth doing yeah. Collecting anima is really slow and awkward so I didn't want to cover it. But yeah you will pick up enough doing treasures to cash it in eventually.
got any gold making tips for classic era?
I've been doing DF and BfA world quests for raw gold, but I didn't think that SL would also award so much gold as well. Mainly since for some odd reason SL quests are for some reason lower-level than BfA quests. I found out a few days ago that a good QoL addon to use is the "World Quest Tracker" addon since it shows you on the map in the zone you're in what rewards the world quests around there will award you, so that you won't have to hover over each world quest individually.
Yeah it is really to miss the good stuff in SL but when it is worth doing it actually beats DF world quests. Ty for add-on btw that is SO useful.
I have 40 characters and I get 1m gold a week just doing dragonflight world quest, is it worth investing time in doing shadowlands and bfa as well?
You'll definitely find opening treasures faster than some of the gold quests. Probably the purple quest also. A lot depends on how fast you do the df world quests on average.
There is some weird reverb happening in some of these clips.
For SL quests or chests do you need to first make some content? . Because I actually started playing in Dragonflight
You can just port in using the engineering item. Otherwise you will have to go through the initial quests to access the zones.
Do you have good methods for leveling alts on the patron? That arnt publicly on youtube. I liked that one video you posted a while back, but I want faster or better methods if they exist.
For retail*
Yeah there's a method everyone likes which basically just involves going to a specific place and pressing a macro. There's several other powerful methods if that gets nerfed.

Super awesome guide! Great idea to utilize raid finder teleports to get to annoyingly out of the way zones. While doing the non-Dragonflight zones, how much gold were you averaging per hour spent?
Around 30000 gold per hour-but a lot of the time I'm opening the map scanning it for a few seconds and then doing something else. Like regular BFA world quests for example (not the purple ones or the vision stuff) ost of the time I just don't do those-you need a cluster of them lumped in one place next to an incursion. If you just did SL you can probably get it to 50000 per hour with covenant teleports and advanced stuff like that which requires set-up.

Hey Arch, I don't know if you'll even see this. But I was wondering if you have any Season of Discovery Leveling methods on your Patreon? You don't have to tell me what they are here. But if you said you did, I'd probably subscribe and check it out.
I'm actually going to publish something on youtube soon. I could make a case for sod or rather generic classic leveling methods on my patreon but to be honest it is currently not up to the high standards I have so I'm not going to do that. There is a real problem with exploits in classic: they've had two entire xpacs to fix everything so there is not that much left.

Looking at all these methods... Isn't it just faster to have a couple of alts and run DF world quests?
Genuine question, I am terrible at gold making
I kinda covered that at the start briefly but it maybe wasn't clear. DF world quests have a high rate of return but there is only around 2k-5k of gold per toon. If that is enough for you and you have enough alts by all means do that. Some of the other stuff I mention is better in terms of gold per hour but if you like DF quests by all means do that. If you need to make more gold than can be obtained from the df world quests then there are some very good additional plays here.
+ maw daily quests some times drop ~1k gold

There are ways to do but it involves things like transferring tens of millions items across servers.

For comparison. I did a world quest run yesterday. Only targeted the ones that gave 600-700 gold. I used my monk and of course dragon flying. I messed up one flight path but usually with ilvl450 and decent skill they were quickly done. I turned in 7k gold for maybe 20-25 minutes of random qorld quests from hitting mobs in tyrs hold, driving log boats, freeing otters and killing a single elite in the ohnara arena (where I was so kind to help another player kill half the questline before he flew away without thanking me).
Just saying. Currently world quests are pretty rewarding. But Im glad we can go to old content with similar results too.
The DF world quests are great for short periods but you can only do so many of them.
