Pieces from Paracletus, then a track from FAS and now Kénôse in it's entirety... Of course there's no comment to be done on the quality of the transcription, you might have outdone yourself this time around. Fantastic work!
These modern death metal bands, the progeny of Gorguts ( Death spell omega and Artificial Brain for example) are creating some really, really interesting compositions that are totally ignored by the non metal community but shouldn't be. These are masterpiece works of darkness imbued classically influenced epics. Very strong use of recurrent themes, excellent break out passages of withering intensity, and an almost hopeless mood that draws the spirit in. It's the music for people who stare into the abyss with the hope it will stare back.
@@ColinleGueux "The dissonance and the energy that can be found in a record such as King Crimson’s Red, in a piece like Magma’s De Futura or in Gorguts’ Obscura were consciously referred to on The Synarchy of Molten Bones [2016]. Having Luc Lemay [of Gorguts] play an instrumental rough mix of the excellent Pleiades’ Dust [EP release from the same year] for me in Montréal and briefly discussing music at a moment where I still was in the process of re-writing The Synarchy of Molten Bones probably had an impact. Anyway, that’s our internal chronology when it comes to dissonance.” - From the Cult Never Dies Exclusive interview by Roy Kristensen, 2020.
@@zlodrim9284 Synarchy took inspiration from gorguts but kénôse and many if their early works wasn't. Fas for example was heavily inspired by penderecki and Wyschnegradsky
Ça faisait 3 ans que j'étais pas allé sur ta chaine, c'est toujours aussi impressionnant. Je vais rattraper mon retard en les écoutant toutes aujourd'hui.

Deathspell Omega did not take inspiration from Gorguts, in fact that is the opposite
@@ColinleGueux "Deathspell Omega did not take inspiration from Gorguts"
Nonsense, of course they did. Obscura can be heard all over their work.
@@zlodrim9284 They never said it tho, although Gorguts did
