@Claire West. Hi Claire good to hear from you. Hope all ok with you? Yes she looked great didn’t she? Glad the flight left promptly before sun set altogether!! Best wishes Steve
Interesting to see the two aircraft that compete with each other A330-900 and 787-9 in the same livery going off one after the other. Many people think the 787 competes with the A350 when its only the 787-10 that competes with the A350-900 otherwise its the two A330neo aircraft.
@Roman. Agh - I sympathise with you. The light was fading super fast when I filmed the departure too. Any delay and it would have been too dark! Hope you catch it soon!!
@@HeathrowAircraft Virgin Atlantic flights usually get to Boston around 7-8pm and leave around 10pm back to UK. I think my next chance will be in late spring at the earliest 😅
@CellPat2. Yes it’s beautiful isn’t it. I was happy to keep the BA 777 in my film as it adds to the ambience of a busy departures scene I thought. Ditto for the VS 787!
@@HeathrowAircraft Thanks for the info. Any ideas what the reg will be? Also, I uploaded the 747sp Saudi at LHR, if you want you can check it out: ua-cam.com/video/Zamv9VxxGIk/v-deo.html
@Ahyan Remtulla. Very nice - just seen it and subbed to your channel. 👏 Yes the new -900 will be G-VTOM and will be named Space Oddity I understand. (As in David Bowie’s hit Space Oddity which begins “ground control to major Tom”) 👏
@@HeathrowAircraft Thanks for subscribing hope you liked the 747sp and did you notice the ANZ 777 in the old livery behind? Quite a nice and fitting registration. One of my favourites was one of their A340-642's: G-VFIZ 'Bubbles'. I've been trying to work out the connection with G-VYOU 'Emmeline Heany' but can't seem to work it out! Any ideas? Thanks!
@@ahyanremtulla Hi Ahyan yes I did notice the ANZ 777. Nice!!!! And yes G-VYOU is slightly different to the other Virgin names. They auctioned the naming of the aircraft to the highest bidder (proceeds going to charity) and the winning bidder named it after their newborn child - Emmeline. Nice idea. Cheers. Steve.
You caught Jerry aswell
@Max jet tv live. Yes - a souvenir for him! 👏
What a beauty, love her sunglasses 👓. Great footage as ever, thanks for catching her for us 😀.

Great video of a great occasion! Good job 😄👏
@Planespotting Ringway. Thanks very much. It was cutting it fine with the daylight. Any delay and it would’ve been pitch dark 🤣
I'm sure Jerry & Gilly will be happy to see this. Good catch.
@Alison Baker. Ah thanks Alison. Glad you liked it - thanks for watching. Best wishes Steve
Welcome to the family VJAZ, happy lightings.
@Colin Boneham. It’s a great addition to their fleet isn’t it?
@@HeathrowAircraft yep
Was a well know AV geek on this flight to Boston. BJTV
@Liverpool 67. Yes! Bet they had a great flight!
Beautiful just beautiful plane
@Harribo. It looks great doesn’t it. Would love to fly on it!
Outstanding catch
@VC10 Aviation. Thanks a lot! Glad you liked it. 👏👏
Awesome
@Raj Nirvan Thanks Raj. There was just enough daylight left to film it luckily!

@1chish hi yes you’re right -good call. 👏
I wish more people knew about that
Nice "bird", very nice!!
@Jorge Moll. She looks great doesn’t she!!
Wish i could’ve caught it here in Boston, but it was already dark when it landed :(

Great capture man, love your videos! New sub from me💯🤩
@Aviation UK Hi Alan thanks very much - glad you like the video and thanks for subbing. I’ve sub’d to yours too! Looks great. Cheers Steve
@@HeathrowAircraft No problem, thanks!
the a330neo is beautiful, i think that’s a 👍good replacement for virgin’s 747-400 but i still miss the 747-400
@abcjelly yes I agree. It’s a nice looking aircraft isn’t it!
Where is agent smith?? Mr. Anderson....neo say No
@loeb1 🤣👏👏
😀😍💯
@sungsam 👍👏👏
A330 is a beautiful plane but it got photobombed by a BA 777. And then by a VS 789. That one had a well captured takeoff run.

Sadly this means that Virgin will get rid of their A330-300's soon.
@Ahyan Remtulla. Hi Ahyan yes you’re right. Next -900 due for delivery later this month.
