At 1:39 when it comes leaping up out of the smoke. Wow! Such a neat shot, like a nearly fallen hero from some Hollywood movie, who leaps up on the battlefield to fight on.
"... He gon' be aight!" at the end was funny! I love that this thing dont have the most aggressive tires but it gets it done with lots of horse power and an awesome driver!
what a kick ass rock bouncer. Right now i cant decide on if i want to commit to building a rock bouncer or a diesel mud truck [life long dreams] both are so appealing to me!
nice to see there are guys with balls still in this country. This sport would be illegal in Califagornia. So much talent goes into building and designing these vehicles. The engineering is very impressive plus lots of GTAW welding. What a great sport!
can someone tell me if mounting the shocks upside down does anything as far as performance? I'm gear head but have only been into crawling and rock bouncing for a couple years, I am starting a project now, but I have used rc crawlers and bouncers to get a better understanding of how to set things up, anti dive and anti squat are very crazy things to learn about. at first I thought it was simple but now that I have started playing around d with positions of the 4link it's a huge can of worms to figure out.. like there are so many ways of mounting 4 link it's insane, triangulated is my favorite but I like going up hill and that's the easiest for tuning anti squat I find.
It depends on the application. For the most part, with long travel shocks its just a packaging situation. Sometimes you cant mount a shock with the body on top. To flip them, you need to have the shocks valved to be run in this orientation. Otherwise your compression and rebound settings will be all screwed. Unless you're talking about inverted coilovers. But thats a different beast where instead of the shaft moving, the body of the shock itself moves over a fixed shaft. Which is stronger.
what manufacturer.?. if you talk to a manufacture you will get info only based on what they have to sell you and that is it. he is still trying to design and build, i doubt he has a specific manufacture in mind. talking to other people and taking the time to listen, will help his build a lot. i doubt this is the only place he is trying to learn about suspension
@9:10 that buggy was relieved like I'm out this bitch💨💨💨 Driver wore that chassis & trans da fuk out; buggy don't want to see his ass until next season Get Out! 😭😭😭😩
That's a good point but you never know. I showed this to my gf and she asked how much it cost to make something like that and I told her that I wouldn't be surprised if that truck in particular costs upwards of 150k to build.
at around 5 minutes wth is he trying to do with a blown out front tire. also ingenious to have 4 wheel steering on something like this.... cant get your rear end to stay at the rear turn your steerring wheel
2.5 ton Rockwell refers to its axles. They are extremely heavy duty. If anything breaks on that rig, it damn sure wont be the axles. (no it doesn't weigh 5000 pounds)
It's hard to appreciate the engineering of the buggy when there is a reckless moron with no skill driving it. Sometimes simply pointing it in a direction and flooring it, isn't the correct answer.
You don't know what you are talking about, this guy is a really good driver. Have you ever driven something like this? Have you ever been to one of these events in person?
I am surprised more fans don't get ko'd with what goes flying out behind this guy. Kudos once again Madram!
The tube work on these machines is art!

That guy can drive, no fear. Great video, Thank you.

How do you get information about when and where these events are at?? I'd like to go to a couple!!!
southernrockracing.com or prorockracing.com
Awesome. I would love to buy one of these some day. How much do you think it would cost to build one? Over $100,000?
Such A Nasty Buggy! Awesome.
Now if PlayStation 4 could get this stuff in a video game
MADRAM OFF-ROAD

Theo Albert How about contacting the shock manufacturer and asking. UA-cam comments aren't the place for suspension advice.

MrMrsregor yeah ok whatever you obviously know.

Does Bobby tanner no longer compete? Whenever I see him in your videos now he's a spotter/helper person it seems
He does, he is just a super helpful person all around
Someone tell me what a "Rockwell buggy" is?
John Hovan Rockwell axles

When in doubt Throttle out
@9:10 that buggy was relieved like I'm out this bitch💨💨💨 Driver wore that chassis & trans da fuk out; buggy don't want to see his ass until next season Get Out! 😭😭😭😩
How do I find these in NC?
reverence I am from Polish described byśmi in a few sentences what it is built, from a box and axes mean the engine
Anyone know how old the driver is? Must be on the younger side to be that fearless!
Young people cant afford 6-figure rigs like that. He is just crazy.
That's a good point but you never know. I showed this to my gf and she asked how much it cost to make something like that and I told her that I wouldn't be surprised if that truck in particular costs upwards of 150k to build.
Having a cage and crazy dont go together usually. Taking a hill climb bike up that would be crazy
This is a perfect visual description of a bigger wallet doesn't make you a better driver...
Heavy Vibrations 99% out of control 99% of the time.
Money can’t buy skill learn that kids lol
Baddest? That's SO last century. ;-)
Queria ter um desses pra brincar aqui na praia.Quanto custaria?01-04-2017

its amazing dude haha
In the title it says baddest 2.5 ton buggy ever built I'm confused how it's the baddest when it only lost a couple times but it won most of the time?
He hasn't won but once or twice, it's the baddest because their aren't many other 2.5ton rockwell buggies that work this well.
TheGamer24 25 baddest as it's the baddest bitch around. Messing best

Anyone else waiting for the claws to pop out the tires?
haha, that would be pretty cool
Each one of those Rockwells weighs more than the engine.
How do you not have more subscribers?
That engine is like ear porn.
What motor setup? Sounds healthy
"close your eyes and floor it" doesn't work?
Is this another 7,000hp buggy?
lol, only about 650 horsepower
I was going to guess 800 but it is staying together very well.
Awesome..

Ashieaf zebronik easaly 900
Around 600
Send it !!!!!!!!!!!
Why do they not run paddle tires ? Even semi aggressive ones they'd work way better than boggers
have to have at least a 39" tall tire and paddle tires are terrible on rocks and the sidewalls tear very easy
😈bad boy boggy!😈
How is this the baddest thing ever built when it keeps on winning?
I am confused by your question?
TheGamer24 25 as in its really good
A true Savage for sure, but.... Outlaw, is baddest
