Ratu Peni Maivalenisau Vinaka , I didn't know that - thanks for the info. Beautiful song then and beautiful now . The lyrics translated are so touching and so beautiful . The melody is pretty amazing also . I sang this to my daughter when she was a baby.
Isa.. we used to have a Vinyl of the Beachcomber island Resort group at home back in the childhood days. Danny Costello was the lead vocalist and this was one of the songs from that record.
Elenoa Tamani . It's one of my favourites of his songs . You are correct it was written for his Mum . Such beautiful lyrics. We still have the cassette tape that the beachcomber boys released . Some songs with the beautiful Theresa Purcell . Love this song and how it's recorded as still so 'raw' and so real . Thanks for your comment x
Guess what , I found a cassette last month at a local op shop . In mint condition: Isa sad loss today , rip Danny . Vinaka vakalevu for the beautiful music
Song was written by Bill Natewa (Viliame Mainanukuloa) for his daughter Liti a present for her Mum and sung by Daniel Ray Costello Jnr..
