Joseph Brodmann was a well-known piano maker in Vienna. Ignaz Bosendorfer apprenticed in Brodmann's workshop and eventually took it over, producing the first Bosendorfer pianos there.Today Brodmann's world headquarters is still located in Vienna, Austria. All Brodmann grand pianos are Hand Built and custom fitted with the world famous German Strunz soild spruce sounding boards, Abel hammers, All Wood Viennese Langer piano action, German Roslau strings, and the finest hard rock maple pin block from the Burkel Co. from the USA. Master technicians and piano builders from Austria oversee all production and final quality control of Brodmann pianos. Beautiful warm, rich Viennese piano tone and concert responsive piano touch.
