In this video I have a special guest, my wife. Together, we share our story of how we met and began to have a relationship with each other. However, once we began to talk about our beliefs in God, we realized there was a big problem. I did not believe the same thing she did. We began to argue about Jesus and who He is.
A relationship that started off so innocent and loving became toxic and disastrous. Where would we go from here? What is the truth? Together we share our story.

For most of my life I was atheist and I hated the idea of a loving God. I never wanted to listen to people talking to me about God. In 2010 I married my wife and she was Christian. She would try to tell me about God and I would tell her I did not want to hear about God but when she was around me she would sing Christian songs. I day she told me she would see me on my knees surrendering my life to God. I never thought in a million years that would happen because I was so stubborn. 2013 I started to read the Bible to prove God was not true and as I read for about 3 months I started to think God may be true. One of the nights I just started to talk to God with all my heart and asked God to forgive me and to change my life. I cried and went to bed and that night, I started dreaming . In my dream I asked God to forgive me and that happened for 7 days and 7 nights. In the day I would ask God to forgive me of things I remembered I did wrong and at night in my dreams I asked for forgiveness. The thing is God changed my nightmares I had for about 10 years to dreams of forgiveness and after the 7 days and 7 nights to preaching about Jesus. This is a short testimony but God did use my wife for his glory. I thank God for his mercy on me . He has done other things that are to long to write but God is true and loves you so much . Give your self a chance and open the door to your heart and you will find the truth which is Jesus Christ. God bless

Powerful testimony! I'm going to make mine as short as possible lol. Born and raised in Washington D.C. I was molested at age 6 my a family member. I was rejected by my family at a very young age. They always cursed my life saying I will never be anything and all because I was from a different dad (I didn't know this until I was 18).I carried so much hate and bitterness. I hated my dad (the one who raised me) he cheated on my mom and put us through hell. Many sleepless nights with him in the house. All this we were going to a catholic church on Sundays for many years. My home was a broken home. I dove deep into alcohol and weed and cigarettes by age 20, I'm 34 now. I decided to abandon the faith and became an atheist. I saw and realize that my catholic religion didn't fix anything or filled my life. Truthfully, I always doubted God's existence. I never really believed. I always doubted it. By age 25 if I wasn't high every day I was drunk 2 to 3 time a week especially on the weekend. I had horrible anxiety and insomnia and later I developed sleep paralysis. I couldn't sleep anymore because almost every night I had a demonic encounter. It made me believe in God's existence so I started to seek him. The demonic encounter took a huge mental toll on me. I felt like a prisoner in my own house and in my own mind. I was a hot head, I had zero patience for anything and I hated everyone. I had no compassion for people. I had my daughter at age 28 who is my first child. I fell into a huge depression by the time she was 3 months old. I couldn't get out of bed to shower. I would spend 3 days in bed without taking a shower. I couldn't get up. I picked up on the marijuana habit again. This time it got worse because I was literally high sun up to sun down. I lost so much weight because the anti depressant killed my appetite. I couldn't play with my daughter and be in a happy mood if I wasn't high. The depression was so bad without it. One day when my daughter was 1 years old, I remember I woke up @ 6am to go smoke weed outside in the morning and I just couldn't do it anymore. So many times I didn't want to wake up anymore. I hated my life. I hated myself. That morning after I was done smoking I went to my room and I literally cried to God and said "is this really my life?! I'm tired of always smoking weed and being high everyday to function!" Right that second I had my encounter with Jesus and it was supernatural! Instantly I felt like a ton of bricks were lifted from my shoulders and felt this immense peace. That night I sleep for 7 hrs straight! All this time I have been going to church with depression and it was hard to be up by 7am but I did it because I was desperate for a change in my life. I didn't go back to a catholic church either. My mom is a holy spirit filled believer and converted to christianity and because of her prayers, God has kept me and reached me. It's through the suffering that we will know who Jesus is. As painful as my journey was to be where Jesus has me today. I'll do it all over again just for him to meet me and find me again. No one and I mean no one can give me and fill my heart the way Jesus can! Not even my kids whom I love so much. Jesus met me @ age 29 and now I'm 34 yrs old serving God and believing that my husband will come soon ❤

What a story! Thanks for sharing. I do volunteer work at night. Listening to people in need and distress, but I find it difficult to reach out. We are supposed to be non political and non religious. Which I follow, but I often realize only Christ is the answer. I think most people would resent me talking about Christ anyway. How to share the gospel? People usually ends with thanking me for listening, -now I can go to sleep, they often say. I usually pray and thank god for everyone I have talked to during the night. Through him everything is possible.
Thank you both for sharing your testimony. My wife and I were separated and almost divorced but God did a miracle in our marriage and brought us back together. We are both very in love with each other and now and we have a passion for Jesus Christ and proclaiming his truth. I too left Islam for Jesus! Praise His Holy name! 🙏 I left after a super natural experience with Him, but with me it happened before I even read the Bible. I too was so so depressed. So depressed that didn’t even want to live anymore and I too was searching in the New Age and read hundreds of the New Age books trying to get wisdom and heal because i knew i needed help. Nothing worked tho. Until one typical night I fell asleep crying and wishing I never wake up. It was one of those nights I came face to face with the living Jesus in my dream. Let me make it clear. It was not just any dream. I not only saw Jesus and heard Jesus, but I experienced Him with every fibre of my being. I was terrified of parting from Him because at that moment, I realized that He was everything I had ever wanted and more. Everything I had been searching for! He wrapped His arms around me and filled my entire body with pure bliss. Pure love! Pure pure pure. I was home. I had no more pain. No doubts. No unworthiness. No pain people, only in a state of pure love and wholeness . I wanted to stay with Him so so so bad. I begged Him not to leave me and when I felt Him loosen His grip, I screamed in attempt to plead with Him one more time to not let go of me. But when I screamed I woke my family up, and my little boy, who’s father had left us for another woman, woke up and started crying and I was sitting on my bed wondering what in the world did just happen and how is that even possible!
This was the beginning of my journey and my confusion. Although, i was healed and madly in love with this Jesus I had experienced, I could not understand any of it, and I knew no Christians. I didn’t even know where to begin to explain what happened so I tried my hardest to forget about it for two years, but I could not forget it. What happened was engraved in my heart and mind. Finley after two years, I met a Christian lady who prayed for me when I got sick with fever and I was instantly healed. I was amazed again and asked her how that could happen. I had never heard anyone pray in Jesus name before, or tell me that Jesus loved me. This lady did that so I was reminded of the love I had already experienced and I asked her how this was possible! After this I was more hungry to know about Jesus. I started listening to the Bible app that she helped me download and with in few months I knew that this was the Jesus I had seen and accepted the Lord, but my Muslim family started telling me I was going to hell so I got some doubts because I didn’t know the Bible well yet. I did the only thing I knew how and got on my knees and told God I needed to know who Jesus was and why He appeared to me and that I had no time to figure it all out by myself. I needed to know and I didn’t care what religion I had to follow, I told God. I just want to go to His loving arms that had held me few years prior when this life is over. I didn’t want to go to hell like my family told me, I said to my Creator. I said this, thinking maybe I will be lead to a clear verse in the Bible, or the Quran maybe. I didn’t know that I would be so blessed and that God would do above and beyond what I asked. I didn’t even know that was in the Bible yet by the way. I had just started to listen to the Bible on the app.
I tell you all from the bottom of my heart, that very night I woke up at 5 am to the most clear and piercing voice asking me if I truly wanted Jesus to live in me? Not only my ears heard this voice but all of my being heard it. I had noooooo idea what this meant and the first thing that came out of my ignorant mouth was only if he is god. No sooner that word came out of my mouth, there stood the most beautiful figure of Jesus in the same way he had appeared to me when he held me and healed me of depression! I asked once more, are you God? I expected Him to answer with a yes or a no. He didn’t. Instead, the most beautiful and holy light came forth and I suddenly was undone and knew that I knew that I knew with every fiber of my being that I was before the living God and I was so ashamed that I had doubted Him. All I could do was repent and shout, “You are God! You are God and now I know!” I could not look at that beautiful light. It was too Holy. I had to look to the side and after being asked the same question 3 times gently, I said “YES” to HIM AND HAVE NEVER LOOKED BACK. THAT MORNING I WAS UNDER THE POWR OF GOD FOR I DONT KNOW HOW LONG BUT I CAME OUT A CHANGED PERSON. I DIDN’T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO ME. I DIDN’T KNOW THAT THIS CHANGE I EXPERIENCED WAS WHAT THE BIBLE CALLS “BORN AGAIN OF THE SPIRT”. I DIDNT’T EVEN HAVE THE BIBLICAL LANGUAGE YET. I REMEMBER TRYING TO EXPLAIN THE CHANGE AND THE GUIDANCE OF THE HOLY SPIRT AND I Used to say things like , “ I feel like I now have this sophisticated GPS guiding me through life and im never alone. I used to feel lost before all the time. Like I had no purpose, like I was alone trying to swim upstream all the time.” Everything seemed easier and my pain had turned to joy, and tears of sadness to tears of joy because I could not contain this love I was feeling in me. The pain and the pressure that was in my chest that had me wanting to die was now turned to joy wanting to burst out of me and I be thinking where in the world are all the Christians that know this incredible God and why aren’t they jumping with joy and screaming roof top telling people about this amazing God. All this happened before I even knew a church. Our God is so so so incredible and there is no one too depressed for Him to heal or too big of a sinner for Him to save. Try Him people. Call out on your Creator and see Who comes through! Jesus is alive, loves you and He will come back❤🙏

To meet someone to have real connection with someone can happen only though God if you have the same faith to God! I'm Orthodox Christian and if you search and historically that's the church Jesus created I don't know how to write it describe it I'm not English or American! Believing is the first step but the way we live makes our faith! You see when you tried to mix those other things(New age etc)on your way to find the truth it couldn't work until you turned yourself only to Jesus! That's the purpose of our lives to finally stay with Jesus after meeting and starting knowing Jesus!

My cousin who I did not know of at the time heard about me and prayed for me for 8 years to become a Christian. After 8 years she stopped. Three years after she stopped praying for me, she actually got to meet me. Thats when she found out I had become a Christian when she stopped praying. Keep praying for those who are not saved.

I can relate to Dennis experience with Jesus because I also had a similar one. I was struggling with something I had done in the past. I thought that I couldn't be forgiven. One Sunday during early morning mass I was asked to read the Gospel. It was the parable of the prodigal son. When I was little my family used to call me the prodigal son because of my rebellious nature. I felt God talking to me and telling me that what I did was forgiven. I didn't know that I was going to be asked to read the Gospel and I didn't know that it was going to be this passage of the Bible, that related so much to my life. But I felt it. It was God communicating with me in a very real sense. Like Paul. I haven't been the same old me since. Thank you both for your testimony and thank you Jesus.

Thank you so much for being obedient to the Spirit and sharing your story. A few days ago I was searching for ex-muslim and Christian love stories on youtube without much success, and your video popped up on my feed today. It is so encouraging because I am a Christian woman who got saved 4 years ago, who fell in love with a Muslim man while living in Egypt for the past year. You remind me a lot of him, actually, with your sense of humor, battle with depression, and hunger for wisdom and truth. We both met on a hike and quickly became friends and fell in love with each other. I shared my faith with him and inspired him to seek God (he wasn't a practicing muslim) but he ended up turning to Allah instead of Jesus and it started a painful journey of disagreements and separation. We had many debates on Islam and Christianity, and I could feel the darkness and deception of Satan having a stronghold on him and keeping him away from the truth. Right now we are not in communication, but I still pray for him every day. Please pray for him and his family to be saved. Thank you for your ministry and God bless you and your wife abundantly. 🙏
Prayer and presenting the gospel are most important. But sometimes it's also relevant to know stuff about the other person's religion. In this regard I can recommend David Wood (channel: Apologetics Roadshow). He is a (very sarcastic but loving) gem when it comes to the debate of islam and christianity.

Hi Denis, much respect for sharing your story. And inviting into your home with your beautiful wife. I can relate with you a lot. I’m from Muslim background and came to Christ when I met my ex wife. Thank God Jesus kept me. But also, you probably know that 7 churches in the book of Revelation are all in modern day Turkey. I guess because it was Greeks back then but it’s a really historically significant place in the Bible.

As an ex muslim witnessing to my family i really needed to hear this video also as someone who started courting another christian who doesnt seem to be very involved with christ it really showed me i need to pray for my spouse more and see where God takes our relationship God is just so good to us all even when our situations maynot be at the best.

He is was born in England to Pakistani parents and even though he smokes, drinks etc (I have to fight so hard not to drink if we are out together) he is very proud of his Pakistani heritage and sees himself as Pakistani rather than English 🙄

I was locked Catholic refused to attend any other Church like Born again Christian.
And I dont feel and see that God is alive in my life so
I started reading the bible when i wake up in the morning- and as I read the gospel as if i am watching the movie - i can see the picture of what i was reading.
Something happened to me, I saw a white shadow ( i beleived my soul) comes out of my body going up and also saw my body in bed holding the bible, but I said come back to my body in Jesus name, and I came back to my body afraid initially followed by peace and joy in my heart.

One of the most amazing testimonies I have heard recently! When you are unsaved, it's very difficult to hear about God, but God has a way of reaching hearts and minds. It's crucial for unbelievers to get saved as soon as possible before our Lord returns. If you have the ability to reach a lost soul please talk to them about it or gift them a Bible. And pray for unbelievers. God moves in response to prayer!
