So true, I watched a video breakdown of all the 2022 Julio Rodriguez “special/insert/numbered” I think it was topps and it was mind blowing how many are actually made. Vs we go back to wow yeah they made a lot of 1989 Ken Griffey upper deck cards yeah, but he didn’t have 250 different cards to pull 😂 in the same brand
I cant trust Chrome I dont think other than maybe buying a complete set in the off-season. They lowered the autos from 5 to 3 per box in the Jumbos yet they want you to pay more! The bottom line is Fanatics will continue to screw over the collector with bad QC, more parallels that wont hold long term value etc. Taco fractor 😂 What's next? Frankenfurter fractor with hot dogs that denotes the biggest show off players around the league. It's gotten a bit ridiculous. Thank you for your breakdown but I'm leaning towards passing on it.
I think the jumbo packs might be 726k, making boxes 60,500. But I might be wrong and jumped gun missing something. 220x75=16500 Then I multiplied by odds of hobby packs 16500x289=4768500 Then subtracting the total packs know you got for oranges refractors 4768500-2590500=2178000 Then divided by 3 to account for 36 card pack 2178000/3=726000 packs Then by 12 for boxes 726000/12= 60500 jumbo boxes ? That’s what roughly 8% more 🤷🏻♂️ Not trying to be right, I’m probably wrong somewhere on my math too But either way it’s a shit ton of cards and packs
Watch a UA-camr open 3 blasters of chrome. He did better in 3 than Stryker did in 10. Hit good number of top rookies in color. Got a Julio sepia. His best was Gunner out */275.
Oh wow, that's crazy! Although I think its going to have a lot of ups and downs, more downs though. The distribution of hits is certainly not uniform across the patch.

No dice on retail. I don't even really like the sepia and pink parallels. I'd rather just buy a jumbo pack from my LCS instead of a blaster.
Retail is tough, but sepia, pink and xfractors add some value
No dice on Jumbo also. They give you just 3 autos vs 5 last year yet want more money 😂. Topps/ Fanatics doesn't care about the collectors.

Yeah, the tacofractor is so dumb. I don't understand why its necessary at all.
The price for chrome Hobby boxes were $300 on the topps website last year. Way less this year with a better checklist. Yes, one less auto.

16500 total waves though. A portion go into the 2.6 million hobby packs and the remaining go into the jumbo boxes. I’ll double check.
8963 of the waves are in hobby boxes. The rest in jumbos. I think my original estimate is correct. Double check it though
