Hope you liked this shallow dive! Just so you have context, Callux had cancer when he was younger and I was informed of this before watching the videos (so that I'd understand the context of some of the roasts). Figured id let you guys know that I knew, and inform people that might not know

The king of no outros in UK is WillNE. He genuinely acts like his videos are a burden and just wants them to end.
Especially the S2W vids where he reacts to shit. Those are the feeder vids funding his main channel

seeing stanz watch uk youtubers is awesome. i started watching uk youtubers since middle school, starting with the footballing content and then moved into chrismd, sidemen, stephen tries, callux / calfreezy, etc. now in college watching stanz react to these is kinda cool.
completely different side of british youtube but Tom Scott's group, the technical difficulties, have some great shows. Citation Needed (like QI) had me waiting for every new season and two of these people are lying is a great concept and my personal favourite series. What they're doing atm while they're on an actual stand alone channel seems up Stanz's alley as well. I think citation needed was mostly on Tom Scott's channel, two of these people are lying is on Matt and Tom, and their current series of videos is on a dedicated Technical Difficulties channel
He's probably seen a few Tom Scott videos anyways though

The no outro thing is to help with the algorithm. People tune out before the outro ends, the algorithm prefers if people get to the end of the video

I feel like he’s pretty consistent with the quality of the videos he makes. Also Stanz has already done Max Fosh and they’re kind of in the same sphere.

If you liked the Callux fishing video, you'd love the UK show Mortimer and Whitehouse:Gone Fishing. Basically a slice of life show where Bob Mortimer and another comedian Paul Whitehouse fish and talk about shit. One of my fave shows tbh.

I’ve done a sensory deprivation tank before, and it’s pretty cool. Once you get over the freaky feeling of not seeing or hearing anything, it literally just feels like you are laying right in the middle of a gigantic, very still lake, miles away from everything. Super relaxing, would recommend! Get a deprivation cabin if you can, if you are able to reach your arms out to your sides, and reach up and not be able to touch the walls it really adds to the experience.
The reason for the abrupt endings is to try and catch people with an advert before they can click off the video when they don’t care about the outro

Not as big and popular as some of the other youtubers suggested but I feel Stanz would really enjoy Robbie Knox's content. Very similar to the fishing video in that it's more slice of life content with someone who is legitimately funny and interesting

The abrupt ending is like tricking the algorithm of the short attention spans... most people stop the video during the outtros... taking that opportunity away from them, makes them feel a need to watch another video and get the content they were robbed of... the entitlement complex of the west + need to feel a part of the crowd makes those short endings trigger the internal monologue to click another video

“Therapy is for everyone” not in the uk king we get 6-12 weeks of CBT on the NHS and that’s it (unless we pay. Which I guess is the same in the states but we are generally not accustomed to paying for healthcare ig)
Although access to good therapy is very much a luxury that not everyone is fortunate enough to have access to, I don’t think there is a single person who wouldn’t get some kind of benefit from good therapy
In the US it's not free at all 🤣 you're looking at $100 a visit without insurance.
@@Gingermycat they meant that people in the UK have to pay for good therapy which is the same as the US (paying for therapy) where UK people aren’t used to paying for healthcare at all.

Therapists are trained to be able to ask the right questions to guide you to reach healthy conclusions. Lots of problems people have are due to being unable to effectively communicate, destructive cycles of behaviour, or crippling lines of thought that they don’t know how to interrupt. A therapist teaches people how to recognise and correct behaviour, learn how to communicate effectively and overall just makes people feel more at peace.
Of course some people need a psychiatrist (therapist who is able to administer medicine) due to their issues being physiological rather than psychological.
i'd highly recommend how to be behzinga, really gives a lot of insight and interesting perspective on ethan

Best way to get full engagement on your video is to ditch intros and outros.
