Transparent you mean?
You can create a new layer using this shortcut ALT+CTRL+SHIFT+N
or from Layer> New> Layer

I truly do not know WHY you add crappy music to your tutorials, they add nothing and are a distraction. Also why go through all the trouble to create a video without audio narration by you, which would add value to your tutorial....
