It was fxcking amazing y’all. It’s so different when you are there. I recommend you go and it was so great me and my friends are going to the Atlanta show also.
How cool for you. I’m 61 and grew up in Hollywood, got to see some great acts. Enjoy music it makes us happy and we need happy really bad right now. ROCK ON!!!!!!!
These kids aren't wasting any of their time. They're making the right contacts. Listening to smart musicians, learning, growing in their writing, their use of instrumentation, effects and overall showmanship. Pushing the boundaries. Never stagnant. They are no joke. I'm a full time musician of over thirty years. I've never seen a growth curve in any band to equal these boys, never mind a young group like this in my life. I can tell that they are taking care of their health. Ant they are keeping alive the greats who came before them. Those who carefully crafted the music and brought theater to the music. GVF are young, but they are already worthy conservators of rock and roll. They deserve the accolades.
Thank you so much for posting this! I was in the 8th row left of stage. I will never be that close again. I couldn’t even see Danny at all except for the screens which are amazing. But this video is great!
I just came across this. Thanks so much for sharing! It was a great concert!! These guys are awesome! I haven't found a song on any of their CDs I don't like. Totally will never understand the haters!

The twins are 25 so still young but not kids anymore. Was backstage for two shows in Toronto, and didn't realize how small they were, but the Rolling Stones are small too
I hope they come back... Or some where close to where I live I would love to go see them I started listening to them a month ago they are absolutely amazing
I saw them on the 5th and honestly I was more hype to hear their 'old' stuff than their new album. This is definitely better than the night I saw them. Haha it has more of a progressive rock kind of vibe. I also love how much creativity and flexibility they have here. The first night felt so nervous and scripted to me.
I found out about this venue and the 2 shows for GVF on the 4th after the traffic nightmare that was after FGL. I bought our tickets on the 5th for the 6th! It still took us 30 minutes to get parked and 2hrs to get out but the freedom to see GVF from several spots in the venue was so worth it. It was our first time seeing them and it was excellent!
Josh is growing, but let's not take nothing away from Jake, Sam and Daniel....these kids have evolved....in my thoughts.... to the greatest Rock n Roll band of the 20's...(that's 2020's) from an old R&R fiend.....that was weened on Bob Dylan and Carole King....i have shook hands and set down and had drinks with some blues legends....BB King, Greg Allman..Old Classics in small bars, Black Oak Arkansas, Outlaws...and Nugent in my small town of Paducah when I was still in the single digits...(complements of my sister)..to name a few....(i'm sure they would approve!) there's not much out there I haven't heard.....unless we hit the 90's....I became a bit selective.......but from the 30's big Band til now....they got it, they got the talent, they got the ear, they got the drive! Proud of these kids for reviving "old school R&R" with a mix of all the things of the past and present... KEEP DOING WHAT YOUR DOIN GRETA VAN FLEET CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU LIVE!
Had box seats next to the sound and light technicians for this concert. Second time I've seen them. This amphitheater in Franklin was really nice. Traffic sucked getting in.
Getting in took us only about 30 minutes. But, while they had no problems getting us into the field, they were nowhere in sight getting us out of the field. It took us two hours to get out. But yes, the venue is beautiful!
It was our 1st time to see them. It was everything and more that I had hoped for! Well, except for the 2hr wait to leave that night! That part kinda sucked! lol
@@myndcrym yea we waited an hour and a half on uber and us and some couple from Alabama ended up paying a dude to just get us back in to Franklin. He was with a ride share and his pickup had left. Best 30 bucks I ever spent lol
I'm a fan and will be seeing them later this month, but sometimes I feel like GVF fans speak as if the band is infallible. This is not their best live performance. Agreed. I am somewhat of a new fan, found them about 2-3 years ago. And we are all human. On one of my other videos from their opening song, I cringed on his first few notes after one was flat. But still, I enjoyed the entire show!
He's young man....fantastic chops...its hard live...I've seen them a bunch and they have been 1000 times better each time....I wish people would cut Josh a break...that boy has got some chops unheard of since Freddy and Plant...they are kids!
Well looks like the whole "rock is dead" thing didn't happen. Then again a record label that passed on the Beatles said rock was dead back in the early 1960's. They can't kill it as long as good bands keep coming.

@Thomas Lickteig, They are a relatively new band and a very young band. I don't think that Rod Stewart and the Faces, the Rolling Stones, David Bowie or any others started out with a silver spoon in their mouth. These kids are doing great. they have a Led Zeppelin, ( which I know they hate to be compared to) or a Yes type of sound. They will become a great rock and roll band. As long as they don't do this entirely for the money, but alot because they want to entertain the people that pay to come see them. Money will always be a reason, but when you also do it because the people love you and want to come see you play and will pay to see you play...play for them.
