- The nation of Israel has declined politically, morally, and spiritually. The people of Israel are confused, conflicted, and ignorant. Chapter 17 ushers in the final section of the book of Judges in which the author recounts anecdotal evidence to demonstrate Israel's downturn. In this study, we see how dangerous it is to lose sight of our spiritual history and biblical prophecy. When we seek to know and understand biblical history, we are moved to obedience. When we study the prophetic Word of God, we have the confidence to face whatever the future holds.

I'm so glad that through your Ministry I'm better able to understand and learn the Word of God - even the books of the Old Testament which previously seemed so inaccessible- especial Leviticus through to Deuteronomy.
The Old Testament is intense. It’s amazing how God still moved the chess pieces despite the disobedience of Israel.

I love these retrospective overviews of Scriptures! Thank you! This is briliant, just splended!
However a thought by Skip in 23:00 “… necessary for every congregation go through the bible, all bible, NOTHING BUT the bible…. “ seems to be surprising. Don’t you have discipleship in the Calvary church? IMHO not hearing the word but discipleship is the main reason of the existence of the Church - the Crist’s body on earth.
Mat 28-19-20 Go ye therefore, and disciple all nations, baptizing them … Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:
and that applies witout limits of time and geography.
Hence Jesus commands not only to apostles but to EVERY believer to 1)GO, 2)DISCIPLE, 3)BAPTIZE, 4)TEACH ALL THAT JESUS COMMANDED - looks whole package for EVERY believer, otehrwise - we might become deceived:
James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
If it happens then how it happens in reality after the sermons in your church?
Pastor Skip has a point of humanity being drawn to idols (around 10 minute mark). In addition to Judaism being "an-iconic" (no icons), Skip may also want to give a quick study and shout-out to Sikhism. Their holy book notes "'God is beyond color and form, yet His presence is clearly visible"' and the, '"Lord transcends the world...and yet He is clearly manifest......There is Only One God; Truth is His Name; He is the Creator; Fearless; without Enmity; Immortal being; without Incarnations; Self-perpetuating..."

how can I purchase your videos for the expound series?????? I listen to you daily but no one knows how long you tube will keep religious content on their site. I tried looking up your bookstore but you have to go there locally and I live in Delaware.

When reading Judges chapter 17, I thought that Micah stole $1,100 dollars from his mother because he was one of the people who gave Delilah $1,100 to subdue Sampson as I read in chapter 16??
