@@ShortField I've just secured a share in a SportCruiser , just getting used to it after a few years poking a PA28 around, it's a bit different ;-) . I'll come join you for a trip to Texel sometime ...if you lead the way!😅
Been watching your channel for a while. Also a Sportcruiser owner (U.K.) and looking to do some European trips next summer. Will unashamedly be following some of your trips, especially the Austrian ones.
Hi James, glad to give you some inspiration where to fly in Europe. I am suprised how many people from UK is planning the trip and watching the channel :) Cheers!
If you like Texel but need a paved runway, I specially recommend to fly further east to East Frisian Islands in northern Germany. Almost all of them have an airstrip, bike rental on it or really short walk to the beach and to the island village. I visit especially Wangerooge an Langeoog regularly.
@@FLYINGADDICTed All of them have an airfield exc. Spiekeroog. Three of them have an airfield in/near the village (Wangerooge, Langeoog, Baltrum; these 3 are closed 13-15LT for noise abatement). Only Borkum has a fuel station. Napíš, keď budeš potrebovať poradiť.
Great scenery! Not heard of Texel, and just across the water from us here in the UK, so thanks for that. Tell us about your SportCruiser and how it is for your touring trips. Enjoying the channel, cheers👍
Thanks! Texel is definitely worth visiting. It seems that more people from 🇬🇧 wants to fly there 😀. I am putting the Sportcruiser walk through on the to do list. Cheers!
Great information, really need to visit these places, Texel Island is fairly local so that will be first on the list. Thanks for the video.
Cheers to Shortfield :) Yep Texel island is totally recommended. If you fly down to the south let me know, maybe I would join :P
@@FLYINGADDICTed that would be fun!

Texel was great and these islands looks also very promising :) Putting on my bucket list! Interesting that almost all of them has an airfield.
