      Dave Spooney The People's Republic of China thanks you. Why buy British when you can support Chinese industry instead. Sun Tzu.

    • @davespooney8472
      @davespooney8472 6 років тому +2

      Letitia Brooks oh right where are these British scoots? I hope your not referring to Scomadi.... the ones built in 🇹🇭 Thailand....

    • @letitiabrooks2383
      @letitiabrooks2383 6 років тому +1

      Dave Spooney So are Triumph motorcycles, to a very high standard. Scomadi were designed and developed in the UK by long time British scooterists over 20 years, who carried out the engineering R&D to make the concept of a Lambretta style auto getting mass produced and affordable happen (they had previously produced hand built Scomadi's for about £8,000). Their design has been (legally but appeal pending) appropriated by a former Chinese partner and profits will go to China, which as a state has a history of intellectual property right infringement. Scomadi have a new Thai partner but Scomadi pay taxes in the UK and employ people in the UK and continue to support British mainstream scootering and British Scooter Racing by direct sponsorship. This was a British idea, developed by Brits. You have a choice to support the originators via the British-Thai company Scomadi or you can support the industry of The People's Republic of China, in full knowledge of how much they care about British industry. As a patriotic person, I know where I will be spending my money.

      Letitia Brooks - good for you, I have a budget of £2.5k hence why I choose RA. £3k for a south Asian built 125 scoot is too much. If Scomadi reduce their price to £2.5k then they will have my interest.... they are identical and anyone who chooses to pay £500 more to make 2 uk business men richer is a mug. Sorry. The RA scoots I'm looking at are sold via a U.K. Dealer, employing English people. If you have direct links to Scomadi then give me a scooter and I'll review both. Serious proposal.
      Why did the law courts grant RA permission to build the GT? It's because Scomadi chose to build their scoots in 🇹🇭. I have no time for company's who go back on their word. Scomadi chose to go behind the Chinese manufacturers backs to get a better deal. Fuck that and fuck your fake patriotism. It's as fake as the bikes....

      @stevidubdub8291  6 років тому +1

      StevIebenz got them from Ron Daley but cheaper on net / are a lot better even if vehicle's are actually nearer than it looks in the mirrors you know they are there so safer .
