I've always wanted something like this so I could bring some life back into my portable TVs. I have one I think is pretty cool, just looking at it you would think it was just a radio, but it has a button that when you press it the TV actually pops out of the unit.
I have an old UHF CRT TV (very small), I was wondering if there was any way to transmit UHF video from my PC? The furthest the TV would be is about 10ft from my computer. Unfortunately it has no input ports, only wireless.
While Watching this, I thought of a few good uses for this.... #1, could have been great for parents to keep an eye on what their kids are watching (if they have a cable box or satellite box hooked up to it) #2 Rather than moving heavy VCRs from one room to another, just transmit wirelessly, ie, my dad came in my room one time while watching a movie and he wanted to watch it when I got done. But, I was watching on my Betamax. My Betamax was stuffed in the entertainment center and would have been hard to get to and unhook to take it to his room to watch. This box would have made it alot easier to share my video experience with him. #3 Is pretty much one you mentioned. I was talking to a friend of mine a few years ago about a 50s style cafe with checkerboard floors, etc. Having an old 13" B&W TV in the corner showing nothing but old shows from the 50s. It would be great for running a tape in the other room to make it look more "authentic"
Very interesting little transmitter! I wonder how it would fare with older games that put out progressive scan/524-line signals. I guess it just takes whatever it's given and modulates it so it would work fine. On another thought, I wonder what would happen if you put audio through the video input. If it would get modulated as AM and transmitted at 549.25mhz (video carrier of ch27) :P
Classic80sStuff I read from another viewer that these are no longer available on ebay, which is where I found mine. I have not seen any others like it.
I would Loooooove to get one, however, I cannot find the Nippon WV-300, WV-350, or Raydon UT-66 ANYWHERE on the internet and this really upsets me. All there is are transmitters AND receivers which I DON'T want. But you know, it's whatever.
saludos amigo yo consegui uno de estos sele puede colocar una antena externa y mejora la distancia dela señal cuanta distancia llega conla antena interna
You mentioned 1950s TVs, Yep this is great for demos/adjusting of vintage sets, as you are actually using real rabbit ear antennas and really receiving the radio frequency transmission as it would have been "live" rather than "pumping" the RF through the antenna terminals!
That 500 feet range claim on the box feels nearly as legit as a 200 watt sticker on an 80's - 90's old china junk boombox.

That's a really cool little device!
Just picked one of these up at a thrift shop new in box for a 1.50 glad I did I got a old crt tv I want to use
it's a shame that these things seem to be so rare, i'd love to have one to tinker with
Great video! I have one of these (Somehow my dad got one) and using one of those portable TV recievers seems like a great use of them!
Re Mine has been working for years..thanks for watching!
databits Hi. Would you be willing to perhaps sell your transmitter?

I need this video sender but cannot find on ebay or amazon 😭
Mat Ten I’ve been looking for the last few months for one and they’re not coming up very much.
Nicholas Kehayias I feel kinda bad lol I just bought one on eBay for $200. High price but I’m excited
Hopefully I can find this device on Amazon.
I just bought the WV-300 on eBay. It seemed great from the portrayal of the video so I had to buy it
Unfortunately it only sends sound not video. Any suggestions to help?
No video at all? Might be bad capacitors. Are you tuning to a UHF Channel?
@@databits very late reply, but the issue was it has a US plug yet its 50Hz, not 60hz.
Where can I get the transmitter?
I searched all the web and I didn’t find anything
@databits Hy,i search a PAL B/g or i,version because i prefer 625 lines,my tv set is only pal,secam,too..If it gets stereo that will be better.
If I was wanting to buy something like this what model and brand would you recommend?

databits Yeah I checked and wasn't able to find this one, there are several "wireless video senders" but I have no idea of the quality of them.
Where can I get one of these
Remember having one of these back in the early 90's so I could have satellite tv in my bedroom
Can it be connected to a computer? And how do I get it for information I am from Tunisia
