I have a 50amp esc, new gws fan and can run her effectively on 3s or 4s. Of course, I never have enough 4s batteries to satify my need for speed. LOVE This bird!!!!

Hi there! I setup a flight mode on the radio that has the elevons raised up, so the launch is very nice and smooth. I do this because the cheater holes want to suck it down until it generates enough lift. You also need to throw it well. I hope that helps! 👊🏻💥👊🏻
Love your videos. If you can remember, how much flight time did you get from that 1550 battery. This will be my next airplane. The only question is what size batteries to buy. I've seen this wing flown with 1800s also. what's your opinion on battery size for windy days. THANKS Brother.

Hi there! It would be hard to put any camera on it, the flight time can be as long as 5-6 minutes depending on the battery used and how much throttle is used. I am not aware of anything similar with landing gear on it. The only thing close is the E-flite Ultrix that is an entertained video to watch anyhow. Wild Bill Flynn is the pilot in that video 👊🏻💥👊🏻

I normally get a good 4-5 minutes with mixed throttle with that battery in this plane. The 1800’s are good too, but I prefer the 1550’s 👊🏻💥👊🏻

Just curious, were you completely out of the throttle (just gliding) when you landed it?
It glides forever, so yes, I believe I was. Other EDF’s need to be flown down though....
