Just so you know, that ARC backpack, despite being sold by a number of custom sellers, is actually a knockoff piece from one of the Chinese knockoff brands, WM Blocks. I only say this because I've seen some custom sellers sell that piece for $2, even though it comes from figures that only cost $0.50, so I hope you didn't overpay for it.
if anyones bothered by the fin on the helmet, gcc is releasing a standard fives p2 replica helmet this month - although with that u lose out on being able to attach a rangefinder - so it's all swings and roundabouts really
When taking off the helmet, try wiggling it around forward and back it helps it get unstuck, and you can get the helmet off easily that way. If the head comes off while you’re trying to do it, just put it back on but don’t shove the helmet down.
What i do to solve the head stuck in piece problem is to pull the helmet off the neck diagonally, try a few times if it doesnt already work to come off the head
You forgot to give him he OG pistols. The ones he comes with look comically large and are even worse than the DC-15A (the blaster rifle with the black candle piece).
I am borderline pissed at this? The ultimate fives?? The front is absolutely bizarre. Might as well get a custom Fives since the shoulder pauldrons are actually integrated into the armor. Call it what you will but it hurts my eyes and I feel like you need to rethink this.Plus the helmet is STILL BROKEN!! It’s not supposed to show white through the gaps!
The exact same thing happened with my helmet from GCC too, i got it out by putting tissue paper round the neck stud so it was jammed on then forced only the helmet off
I still don't know whether to get the official Lego fig and mod it or get the GCC one. I guess the GCC one would look better, but the official one would be a lot less expensive, even after including the mods
I got my French Decalers paludron for Fives which has the backpack built in and looks way better than LEGO's version. My CAC ARC Trooper Fives P2 helmet (2020 style) is arriving today.
Just got the set yesterday and………. I don’t actually see an issue with it. Honestly, I think we should just be grateful we even got Fives as a minifigure and a well detailed one as is.
@@iljagro772 you know, it’s funny because almost everything about the figure is accurate and near perfect, but it’s the helmet most people have an issue with, I don’t, because as previously stated, I’m just grateful to have a Lego version of one of my favorite Clones.
Oh, I had the same problem with heads getting stuck in that helmet. Use a napkin or tissue to remove it. Drape it over a lego torso, then place the head/helmet (this tightens the connection to the torso significantly) then just remove the helmet. It should pop off.
If you can force the head out, from my (admittedly short) experience with some third party figures, I think it's some molding in the inside that creates too good of a seal both inside and out of the "Stud" on the head. I suspect trimming the excess plastic on the inside of the helmet with an exacto knife will do the trick.
As much of an advocate I am for upgrades, I have to admit that custom moulded pieces like the backpack do remove a bit of the Lego aspect for me

you could either remove the fin of the arc one or drill a hole on the p2 one

I have the same Fives helmet and head as well. You could wiggle the helmet back and forth and it comes off easily

All you’ve gotta do is buy the cape cantina fives set. You could add different blasters if you want but it’s not too necessary
I bought all my upgrades off of Clone Army Customs and they are spot on, from the range finder all the way down to the pistols.

Thats a very low bar, the mini figure isn’t as good as it could be. Lego is just lazy and people eating it up because the bar has been low for years

Only complaint for me is the waist cape unironically printed waist capes are a bigger issue than the helmet holes have ever been.
