Chris Boutin actually i started up again but now im 2 weeks sober and im going to AA NA and al anon my gf is moving in and she is going to be getting sober with me all is well im actually happy. thank you for asking because iv never been more happy my gfs birthday was today and she knocked a bottle of crown royal out of my hand that i found in a ditch she pulled me away and told me "NO your not starting over" and she ended up not drinking today because the fact i was strong enough to not drink that liquor out of a ditch i had the devil on my shoulder all day and she stuck with me thru it all im proud shes my girfriend and i plan on marrying her later on in my life she saw that i WANTED to drink that and she saw i turned it down so she saw that she WANTED to drink on her bday but she didnt because she wanted to be strong like me. so much happend today and idk if you believe in god but today i am thanking him for my sobriety because i could not of done this by myself if my lady wasnt there i would of gotten sick tonight and probably got stuck in another city for 3+ days with no ID THANK YOU GOD!
Always remember with God all things are possible. Keeping praying and listening. Fight the good fight and watch your life change. I'm just a random person but your story is inspirational and one day might be able to help another. God bless.

My girlfriend used to be a drunk, pothead. She lost her virginity as a drunken mistake, she started believing atheism when a guy taught her it all. Her ex boyfriend dated her for 2 months, and used her the whole time, and broke her heart. I found her broken, and I've spent the past 4 months piecing her back together, and loving her unconditionally, and showing her the unconditional love of God. Well, my and my sisters were praying for our friends curtis. His back was messed up cause one leg was about 2 inched shorter than the other. we saw that leg grow our 3 inches and the other one grow out to match. My friends were praying for me, i got healed of permanent hearing damage and my back realigned after years of constant back pain. God is real and he will show himself to you if you just seek him out. He wants a relationship with you, & if he can love a broken man like me, he can love you

Most civilization and culture derives from religious practices altogether, whether it be Pagan Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, Egyptian, and Greek mythology that's not a scientific fact, that's a historical fact. At one point or another, people believed the same thing they did and civilization started afterwards. They also realized that working together was the only way for the species to thrive, and thrive it did. But it's because of common religious practices at the time that propelled the human race to be what it is now. A bunch of whiney, selfish, insulting individuals where modern technology has just made everything worse. Perhaps, if Atheists weren't so enveloped in refuting theists then humanity can get somewhere, but nope, someone somewhere has to refute one side or the other to someone who clearly isn't going to change their minds. And I know that this guy is a minority, and I'm fully aware that not all Atheists do this. I was learned on one subject that people that are called aethiests are actually just a bunch of stupid people that can't agree on anything and just want to argue for the sake of arguing. I do not like to put other people down and is not the point of me talking about this. I do find that what they had said was very truthful. Thus promoting the ideology that something somewhere would be over ruling and instill inside people that difference to notice the difference. You can believe anything you want and I'm not going to give you any grief for believing what you want. But oxygen exists. With our very powerful microscopes we can actually see atoms maybe not fully but we can see them aligned in rows in a solid piece of iron per say. To know whether a god exists or not is impossible because it's unprovable and no evidence has arisen in over 500 years of science. I can see why people believe in god it gives them hope and security that I have no problem with. But the concept of sin and the need to be saved for things that aren't your fault, the blatant hatred of gays in the bible. These things just spill hatred and fear into people. Torture is never justifiable for any reason even for revenge. Yet that's exactly what happens to people like me who aren't convinced but are still good people according to your bible. To me it seems dark and twisted

To know whether a god exists or not is impossible because it's unprovable and no evidence has arisen in over 500 years of science. I can see why people believe in god it gives them hope and security that I have no problem with. But the concept of sin and the need to be saved for things that aren't your fault, the blatant hatred of gays in the bible. These things just spill hatred and fear into people. Torture is never justifiable for any reason even for revenge. Yet that's exactly what happens to people like me who aren't convinced but are still good people according to your bible. To me it seems dark and twisted

Of a gods existence. I do not deny the possibility but philosophically it doesn't make sense. I'm a pagan anyway. Also I do hope that you reject the parts of the bible that are immoral and dark.
