But on serious note, I remember the words that a family friend who’s a consultant told me a while back & i still remember it all the time. He said that you shouldn’t worry so much about which university you go to, but about working hard to make sure you do get into a medical school. Because getting into medicine is in itself a huge achievement, and I would say that it’s the equivalent of getting into Oxbridge for any other degree.
'any other degree' is completely untrue, there are kids going to med school on aab - Oxbridge STEM is the equal of getting into ANY medical school. Medicine at a 2nd/3rd tier school is perhaps better than getting into oxbridge for arts/humanities.
