    Love these use agar! I have learned I have a family history of Cancer so need to avoid the BLV, lead and pesticides in meat/bone based products like gelatin. Thanks for sharing

    Doesn’t work for me like literally when I tried making this with molds, boiling water, everything it didn’t work

      Hi, I'm sorry to hear that. It works every time for me. Perhaps your agar-agar isn't up to the mark?

    • @lovelynorah25

      What she forgot to show in the video is that most agar agar powders need to bloom before you cook it and boil in the sugar. You'll first want to mix your juice and agar agar powder in the saucepan but don't turn on the heat. Let it sit for five minutes and THEN add in the sugar, let it melt and dissolve in, etc etc. Hope this helps!

    I heard agar power has a strong taste. I’m curious is that true? Do these pretty gummies taste good?

    • @veganbell
      @veganbell  Рік тому +5

      Hi. Not at all. Agar powder does not impart any flavor here (and yes, these gummies taste as good as they look) ^.^

      Hi, Lajja. You can use fresh or packaged juice (we used packaged). IMO, cranberry juice tastes the best. Thanks for watching! :)

      @@veganbell Y'know, getting animal products is usually benefitting the animal in a lot of cases... like sheep.

      Hi.
      1. Yes, you can use maple syrup instead of sugar. You might have to adjust the amount of agar accordingly.

    • @HaveanIcedaymx

      They do! Agar agar attracts bacteria very easily. It's what they use in labs to grow bacteria, actually. In my experience making agar gelatin, they must last 2 weeks tops if you are careful.
