I have to say that Zhou Dongyu and Jackson Yee are truly marvelous in this film. I've watched it several times, and I cannot reiterate how these actors take acting to a whole other level. The story is brutal and, yes, there is a happy ending. They were magnificent to watch.

What the hell, No one told me a movie recap can make you as sad as watching the whole movie.
It hits so close to me whenever bullying cases are involved, so I guess I could somewhat visualize the things she might've been going through if it had been for real and it made me sad, because I know cases like this are way too real and happening even right now somewhere in the world.

Chen is not to be blamed in the accidental death of a bully. Bullying should be classified as a crime because a lot of times bullying results to physical assault, threats and death. All countries in the world should be vigilant about bullying. Last night, a mental disorder teenager who accidentally escape from their house (door locks forgot to lock by 1 parent) was bullied in our place and the parents reported to the police the teenagers who bullied the mentally disable teenager. I don't pity those who bullied the mentally disable. Those bully teenagers deserved to be jailed. From what I know the parents of those bullies were also ask to go to the police station. Do not be afraid to report bullies. These bullies should be given lessons to treat people nicely.

I didn't know I could cry watching a movie recap. The truth of the story is such a hard pill to swallow and I can only shed tears for Chen and her lover. I've honestly never been bullied but I cannot fathom other people going through such horrible circumstances. I hope that people take bullying seriously because it has been endangering lives and futures. This movie is really something to learn from.

Gotta admit I'm kind of jealous, I wish I never had to experience bullying like you. But it's a good thing you haven't had to go through it! And if you ever do, always stand your ground. The best way to do that is with your words. Only fight if it's absolutely necessary to protect yourself. Words make more of an impact, just make sure you choose them carefully.

I was bullied as an adult by 3 managers, as I was a manager myself. One Saturday I was washing dishes and dropped them in the sink, started balling and thought to myself ‘this is why people who have been bullied kill themselves, this is what it feels like’. After that I went online to see what it recommends to do. It basically said best to leave because if you do anything, it will get worse from retaliation. So, I then decided to document everything with date and times so that I had proof if or when it all came to a head, and started looking at other jobs. I needed to work for income, so it wasn’t easy for me, but I hung in there. God must’ve answered my prayers because one day, one of them sent me a nasty email and I escalated it (along with retaining it for my records). Now they looked bad and all of them took off running and got new jobs elsewhere. When I was a kid, I didn’t bully and wasn’t bullied. I always did and always will stand up and fight the evil monsters out there. You will NEVER feel guilty for doing what’s right and seeking/ standing up for truth! Children AND adult bullies can be stopped. The innocent don’t deserve treatment like that. Would you like your loved one to be bullied? Then stand together and fight them all. I’ll die before anyone thinks about touching my loved ones or tormenting them like that. Period. No discussion.

I cried during the movie but the ending is good and was right.
when you don't admit to what you did, that doesn't make you an adult it just proves how much of a foolish child you are still and can't Ves up to what you have done along with what you should of done so what happen wouldn't have happen so harshly or not at all

That's how laws work dumbass. That's how you prevent vigilantism. She should get the lowest possible sentence, maybe even a pardon if that's possible (a pardon is used when a person is already convicted of a crime so there must be an admission or establishment of guilt). If the bully didn't die and was not harmed, then yeah fuck her. If there is a law, prosecute the bitch. But the law is there to create order as much as it is to provide justice. So yes, it makes sense for any non-dumbass.

it's either a lifetime imprisonment or death penalty for murder. her situation was obviously considered, seeing that she was sentenced 4 years of jail and not more.

This could’ve been argued as self defence. I think if she had come forward even earlier along with the bully footage, her sentence would’ve been either even shorter or none at all.

no you don't want that. it gets worse and the bullying actually comes in the form of hooligan boys getting physical with you following the girl's order. this happens a lot in Asian female to female bullying. it's always the guys protecting the bully and sometimes helps the bully beat up that one girl. it's crazy. i've seen so many videos. Hooligan boys are nasty people with no pity for girls.

It really makes us wonder why psychologically some people harm others for their own pain and suffering and some of us wouldn't or couldn't do this. So many of us since the beginning of this world have gone through numerous and awful circumstances and never hindered or hurt anyone else because of our suffering. It is unconscionable to do so as it doesn't take away the pain - it only stains our souls to the point of no return. I would pray and send love to anyone who have been and who is being bullied to remain strong, be courageous and please speak up. Keeping this in will not ever help you or the perpetrator - because if they do it to you they will surely do it to others. I send you all love and peace. Thanks.
