I have dissected this song maybe one million times (because that’s just what you should do these days) and my opinion is that Tom Macdonald comes come a major place of love of desperation to bring humanity together...even if there’s something you don’t agree with in this song, just look at the intention on his heart. I really liked your reaction, it seemed genuine and it may have been your first time hearing or considering some of the topics. Not agreeing on certain things is actually considered a positive in some aspects because it leads us to ask questions and consider other's opinions. For example with me personally with the BLM subject I can see it in many different ways. It means different things to different people because we all don't come from the same mindset. It could be everything from someone speaking out because they feel the system is tailored to treat blacks as less than human, or a message of encouragement from a mother to her son that his life is just as valuable as anyone else. There are those who see it as excluding others as if only black lives matter, and those who see BLM as feeling all are equal. It depends on each person individually and their experiences. But such as any movement that goes beyond the sentiment there are some that will use the emotions of the followers to their advantage. Personally I am more fond of the phrase "Your life Matters". Just some of my thoughts, feel free to disagree. Either way I hope you both are well and have good things come your way.

I really liked your reaction, it seemed genuine and it may have been your first time hearing or considering some of the topics. Not agreeing on certain things is actually considered a positive in some aspects because it leads us to ask questions and consider other's opinions. For example with me personally with the BLM subject I can see it in many different ways. It means different things to different people because we all don't come from the same mindset. It could be everything from someone speaking out because they feel the system is tailored to treat blacks as less than human, or a message of encouragement from a mother to her son that his life is just as valuable as anyone else. There are those who see it as excluding others as if only black lives matter, and those who see BLM as feeling all are equal. It depends on each person individually and their experiences. But such as any movement that goes beyond the sentiment there are some that will use the emotions of the followers to their advantage. Personally I am more fond of the phrase "Your life Matters". Just some of my thoughts, feel free to disagree. Either way I hope you both are well and have good things come your way.
