Banff - Alberta Canada - Glacier Tour - The Sentient Life
Throughout our trip this year we’ve become obsessed with glaciers.
If you’re like me, I didn’t know exactly what a glacier exactly what is.
So here’s your fun fact for the day.
Glaciers are a huge mass of ice the flow like very slow rivers. The form over hundreds of years were fallen snow compresses and turns into ice. Glaciers formed the largest reservoir of freshwater on the planet. In fact, they store 75% of the worlds freshwater.
Sadly, most scientist believe that all glaciers will be gone within a few hundred years.
So hopefully that’s motivation enough for you to travel to Banff or someplace that has amazing glaciers.
But on this day in particular we took a glacier tour on a massive bus with tires almost as big as me.
And of course the best part was being able to get out in toward his glaciers on her own fill them with their hands or feet and get to experience it up close and personal for about 30.

Ending:
Without a doubt this was the most memorable part of our trip to Banff. Our kids will never forget the feeling of walking on a glacier and driving in a monster bus across the ice.
Our two weeks in Banff and Kenmore didn’t disappoint but now it’s on to the next adventure in whitefish Montana.

I recently took a trip thru highway 11 to Bnaff the long way. Super awesome day trip did a small hike along the way. I haven't been on that tour since i was 12
