Just a tip. Cover your glass when grinding. I've had slag stick to my windshield. Peppered the whole thing and even thought it does come off, theres some little speckles that bug me now when the sun hits them right...
Finally finished up installing my flares. Just gotta do the trim liner stuff and it’s good to go. Thanks again for the good content on how to do it right.
Folding those in instead of cutting them out is a great move. I hate the way that these fenders look, but the function beats out form in this case. Great video once again.
Lol you and Kyle both dont like the way the look. Personally I really like them. Although I have never been a fan of the regular style bushwacker flares. I can now fully flex and not rub the rear lower quarter panel which is HUGE. Thanks Salvatore!!
@@JenningsOutdoors that's funny, because I like the bushwacker flares lol. Like I said though... function needs to come first. If these reduce rubbing, they are worth it.
Tough locks are some junk for made a trip to hardware bought similar hardware to the top and made access holes to get to the back side but mastered bondo so will be closing those access holes As i dont see these comming off ever
I still gotta do the rears on mine. I did the front's out of necessity to get my tires to fit, but I've been driving around for 3 years now with the stock rear flares...
Thats a good question. It depends how far up they are cut. If they aren't cut to far you could still make them work. I would recommend downloading the instruction manual and measuring out the cuts.
Finally a video explaining the tufflock. Never heard of it either. Thank you
Hah! That makes me feel better lol. I was so confused... Glad it helped. :)
Your a life saver 🎉 thank you

Great video. Thanks for going through all of the detail. Jeep looks great.
This is awesome! I really appreciated the detail and clarity

Super glad it helped man!

Ok. Damn good job. I need help with my xj. Hopefully you have more videos.
Thanks man. Got a couple more. I’m always doing crap to it though. Lol
I still gotta do the rears on mine. I did the front's out of necessity to get my tires to fit, but I've been driving around for 3 years now with the stock rear flares...
Did you do the flat fenders or the roundish ones? I watched your latest video. Good to see you back at it.
Hey can you link your exact bushwhacker flat fenders
Great DIY video.
Thank You!
How far out off of the front and rear fenders do these flares stick out? Thanks!
What rims are you running? Thanks
Looks great!!!
I have also 3 inch lift kit and I'm curious if this will be enough for 32s?
You should. I’m running 33’s with BW flares with a 3.5” lift
@@jonathanamador7748 thsnks.
I agree with jonathan. I am thinking of moving up to 33's myself. Though I am on a 3.5 as well.
@@JenningsOutdoors ok, thanks! 🙂
How much material roughly was cut off to make these work? I want to install these but Im afraid it would look funny with my lift and wheel setup
Actually quite a bit was cut off. It could look funny if your tires were to small. These are LT265/75R16's with a 3.5 in lift
hey man, what’s your wheel and tire setup? rim size? tire size? looks good i’m tryna figure out a setup for my xj with a 3 in lift
LT265/75R16 k02's .I think the wheels are a US Wheel simulated beadlock. 16 of course. Although I think here real soon I will be getting some 33's.
If I don't have the factory holes ?
Like it is already cut past the holes?
Yes, that’s my situation. Guy who owned it before me hacked them pretty high
@@dantheman6931 You can't really put the metal back on. Go to a junkyard and get some stock fenders?
@@jonathanaragon4013 thanks! I wound up welding up a strip and drilled new holes
So you’re running the same lift height and flares and tire size I’m wanting. What are the specs on your wheels? Any rub at all?
Not super sure the back spacing tbh if thats what your asking? But the tires are LT265/75R16 on 16 fake beadlocks from US Wheel.
So what if my fenders are already cut

Thanks for making that video. Are you still happy with them? How solid are those?
Very solid. I really like them. As long as you do a good job installing they won't go anywhere!
What BS are those wheels??
I am really not sure the backspace tbh.
would this work if i already cut part of my fenders?
