Dr Welyne Jehom, an anthropologist by training from University Malaya, embarks on a cultural expedition to various locations in Sarawak to hunt for the most iconic female headgears of the different ethnic communities of the land
Our hunt continues in Mukah, the cultural heartland of the Melanau community to learn more about the Serbang, the traditional headgear worn by the Melanau women. Dr Welyne travels to Kampung Tellian Tengah to meet up with Mr Tommy Black, the expert on all things Melanau.
