There is awareness to notice when the mind is active and to shift our focus back towards presence. It’s a tug of war not volitional just a noticing between thoughts and presence. “I exit the game” Gupta says so there is “a way” to exit with knowing. Moe should have asked “how to you exit” haha he did. But I wish they when deeper into it that’s the most important part that process it is awareness and a shift in focus from thoughts to presence. And then the presence gets deeper. This is a practice. We are strengthening our awareness muscles every time we notice thought taking over and come back. . There is a momentum to both. Access presence. Stay there. There’s an exit door to your nightmare I’m gonna stop commenting because it’s not benefitting me but Thankyou for these interviews they are tremendous.
I like a lot of what this guy espouses and a significant chunk is BS Considering he adamantly holds that no one learns anything from someone else and that podcasts are stupid He can’t explain why he does these talks - some basic truth missing there There is no doubt that we gain life changing knowledge from others.
Prescriptions are the most important thing in life because without them we wouldn't me moving forward as a civilization. Let me put it this way if you want to be healthy you listen to prescriptions which if you go on your own path to find would take infinite amount of time. You prescribe to a doctor because he knows better than you, prescriptions are what make our lives better. You subscribe to a cooking UA-cam channel because they're prescribing you recipies to improve your cooking skills prescriptions are the only driving force in the world. Kapil should be miserable with his views of the world.
@rupeshtashildar You clearly didn't understood what Kapil said. If you really listened to him long enough you will know that he uses the word prescriptions as something else. You can't get to success by prescriptions because if prescriptions really worked then everyone would be successful if they followed the prescription. But we see that is not the case, so prescriptions don't work. Another example suppose you are depressed and you watch a motivational video. But still you are depressed why? Because you don't understand depression. You may get out of it by using drugs or excercise but you will be depressed after something bad happens. The main thing he wants to tell is that people get answers too easily that is why they don't know the truth hence says prescriptions are ineffective.
Maybe he doesn't want to be, his truth is searching for truth. Because monetary success is a societal virtue, and your personal virtue, you ask this question, you want a reason to disbelive/disprove him because he is not giving you a direct solution.

It seems more like the validation of the thoughts of the inquirer than a conversation.
You like debate and all the stupid shit
When kapil says when he listens to the mind. It is almost never correct. Then if the dog starts barking I’ll listen to the dog. He is great
It’s not the mind always lie; it’s the mind is the “Lie”
39:30 thats the good stuff right there
Thankyou

Their vessel cannot hold their wisdom. They want to share it. They are overburdened with it.

Idiot
That's how you react when you don't understand what he said
Where his truth is applicable is in areas of art and creativity.
I think he talks not from a technical point of view. But related to how to live.

Why is kapil not the richest man
Maybe he doesn't want to be, his truth is searching for truth. Because monetary success is a societal virtue, and your personal virtue, you ask this question, you want a reason to disbelive/disprove him because he is not giving you a direct solution.
What a stupid question
Sounds like a very rich man to me.
He has a unique treasure that money cannot buy
He said in the podcast his main objective in life is to conquer his mind. Not to get wealthy
