Smokey Mountain was beyond genius! Only if he had a bigger market with more 💰! That was his baby, and when he lost it all it really crushed him... glad to see he got it back together and focused on other ventures in wrestling! The guy is 📺 GOLD!

1:04:43 Him and Johnny wasn't tagging in SMW. They was never SMW tag team champs. Johnny was out of SMW by the time Tommy came in. Tommy was SMW Heavyweight Champion when SMW closed and the original story is about heavy weight tittle.
And you can take a quarter of what Tommy says as truth and then it's still a stretch.
I think and would bet that Cornette is alone in the wrestling world when it comes to politics. He would be more at home wearing a red berret, Che Guevara shirt and a MSNBC button. But since his wrestling knowledge and grasp is so good and he's so funny, it can be forgiven.

I don't really understand why half these older wrestlers have podcasts when they can barely speak. They're talking crap about Corny and most of these guys he praises to the moon.
A lot of the older guys also understand that Wrestling has evolved and respect the modern talent. Where as Corny will rip into to them because they dont wrestle like it's the 1980s. And I'm saying this as Cornette fan. He is very very disrespectful towards modern talent that don't fit his image or do what he wants them to do. He wants everyone to work a style that just doesn't hold up anymore. He is correct in regards to in regards to in ring psychology and having things make sense. But that's kind of where it ends.
