Love how stoked you get on all the bikes, but it would be cool to see you rank your personal favorites. Just to see which bikes were a cut above, in your view.
Was just reading through the comments to see if anyone else would ask this. He seemed to love them both, but was really pumped on the Evil. Love to hear a compare.
I'm super impressed by these reviews, especially the lucid commentary at speed! I do have one gripe: haven't heard a single negative final thought yet. I get that modern bikes with Big 2 suspensions and drivetrains will all be solid, but I'd love more differentiation among bikes in their group. What stands out?
My thoughts exactly. How does this suspension compare in feel to the Ripmo, the Switchblade or Evil Offering? Any comparison in terms of head to head would be great.
Best reviews as always. That being said he could probably ride a unicycle at 50mph on those trails and would love it. There comes a point where his skill overshadows bike builds. I wanna see him and Jeff Kendall Weed race head to head.
Your reviews are awesome! Would be awesome to have some comparison between bikes. An overview of your favorite bikes would also be super cool. Would be curious to know how you find this vs the new Transition Sentinel? Thanks!
Another great review.....I reckon your one of the best on the internet. If you can you should try and review an Orange Stage 6 ,Cotic Rocketmax and compare them to the Modern Enduro bikes . They both have uber modern geo but single pivot or made out of steel .
Wow! Was the video 2x LOL! Loving my new trail oriented RM PP Instinct and I would love that trail your on but I would be riding down at 1/4 your speed. Great Video! Epic Ride!
I have a 2019 Instinct BC carbon 90 with carbon wheels, bars and lighter saddle, 30 pounds even WITH Stamp 11 pedals. Really more than i need riding Blue trails at age 65 but gives me tons of confidence, yeah i love those Maxxis tires, serious grip. I see the Carbon 90 has the FOX 38
Great Review and man you are a good rider! My favorite is when you are flying down the mountain and around 6:50 you thread those trees. I was like whoa! What width handlebars are you on? The camera work is good too, very clear and stable. Do you prefer this vs Transition vs Pivot?
It's best for someone who wants to go crazy downhill, aka it's not the best climber or pedaling platform; and being 170mm you shouldn't expect it to be a great pedaling platform. It's not going to compare to a 130mm trail bike for pedaling and climbing up a mountain, etc. He doesn't necessarily need to spell out the negatives for there to be negatives.
I have a 2019 Instinct BC, just had the 10-52 XO installed and dropped just over half a pound, carbon wheels and bars, Stamp 11 pedals its AWESOME 29.6 WITH pedals, bottle cage and front fender
Dude, you sent that thing like a MFing Boss! I work for Rocky Mountain here in Australia and I can't wait to try that thing out. won't be sending it like you but I'm sure it'll suit me fine. Great review guys. You got my Sub!!!!
I have a 2019 Instinct BC carbon 90, i see for 2021 they have hidden that cable under the BB, that was kind of an obvious pet peeve but i love my BC, its an amazing bike especially for what i need and use it for
Spencer, how does this bike compare to the Large Megatower, on paper the altitude has alot longer toptube, but a steeper actual seattube.. is the seatpositioning the same? also, how do you find they compare on the trail?
Yet again another awesome review!! 👌 Be super nice if you could get your hands on the Propain Tyee CF 29 as there's currently not one video review online and be really interested on your thoughts.
I watched most of your reviews for the big enduro category bikes and I still can't see one in which you are faster than on the enduro. Maybe it was the day(although it looked slippery), maybe you were 110% in the mood for riding or maybe it was the bike, idk. Even though this Altitude is a fresh EWS winner, it does not look as fast as the Spez. Weirdly, the pros don't seem get along with it that well.
@@fabian12369139 no way, slower, not the same stability. Just watch the spez video, it is effin' monstruously fast!, I hate the fact that spez does not make one in alu.; for me, personally, carbon on big hitting bikes is useless; from gravel through trail, carbon of course. Once you get to enduro type of bike and above, no thank you. Money extra not making me any faster.
Awesome Review! My one personal gripe would be the Maple Leaf. Where it is just feels like an eye sore. I just want to rotate it soooooo bad. Other then that....what a beautiful rig.
Dear Freehub, your bike reviews are literally the best in the industry.
🙏Thank you for the kind words
100% between the commentary and the actual display of what a highly skilled rider can do on the bike, it's a fantastic combo!
love seeing reviews from on the bike not just beside it
totally agree
wOrd! 🤙
Already know it’s the best review on launch day. What a weapon!
Jeff Kendall weed just put up a sweet review on this bike also. Two great reviews on the same day 👍🏽
Love how stoked you get on all the bikes, but it would be cool to see you rank your personal favorites. Just to see which bikes were a cut above, in your view.
Exactly, we need a bit more criticism to help make purchase decisions.
I just picked up 2022 model c70 on clearance, great review thank you
sunn leaks at high speeds while you act a dialogue with the bike, is truly rad 😎🤙
How does it compare to the Evil wreckoning? That was an awesome review.you did. Seemed like you loved it
Thanks, great review Spencer!! Any quick comment on this vs. the Evil Wreckoning?
Was just reading through the comments to see if anyone else would ask this. He seemed to love them both, but was really pumped on the Evil. Love to hear a compare.
i think he was more impressed by the Evil.
Im getting a wreckoning next year!
@@mariopaniagua8692did you ever end up with a wreckoning?
I did not. I got an Spartan

After seeing the price on this I want to see a review on the Kona Process X
Watch out Pink Bike, the new review king is in town.

It just makes fun, to watch you shredding and having fun :) best reviews ever 👍
I watch these just for the riding they are the best.

You guys are crushing it with these reviews - such a treat to watch! Is this GoPro footage?

Any negatives? If all the bike you tested are perfect than this is not a review. It is just an advertisement.

I would just like to say that i love your bike reviews !.............. Thanks
I love the styles of your reviews! Keep up the good work
Seems the coil version comes with the FACTORY fork and also 350 hub not 370 and the same price which seemed to have taken a decent jump
Great review. Would love to see you review the Nukeproof mega 290
man...can't make out what trial it is. Missing my Belingham time. Maybe in 2021 whenever the borders open up again.
Want a Rocky real bad, but the pricing in the States makes me empathize with Canadians who are usually the ones getting shafted.
lol yeah an Altitude is like $10 G's here. Would love to own one. Maybe in a few years lol
I have a 2019 Instinct BC carbon 90, i see for 2021 they have hidden that cable under the BB, that was kind of an obvious pet peeve but i love my BC, its an amazing bike especially for what i need and use it for
Weird question, but is it coincidence that Freehub, Pinkbike and Jeff Kendall-Weed all posted review of this bike on the same day?
Spencer, how does this bike compare to the Large Megatower, on paper the altitude has alot longer toptube, but a steeper actual seattube.. is the seatpositioning the same? also, how do you find they compare on the trail?
Wow man! That was a really nice video! Keep up the good work! I have just one question, are you riding clips or clipless?
How do you compare it to other bikes like the Propain Tyee, Megatower, Specialized Enduro...?
Add Sentinel to that list!
And add trek marlin
Please let us know the enduro test trails?
that was amazing. thanks for the video review!
Great review, trail and riding. What camera and gimbal do you use?
Hero 7 Karma gimbal
Dude that trail looks dope son!
Ever ridden a Druid?
What’s the slayer then is this is their enduro beast!?
Slayer is considered "Big Mountain", Altitude is Enduro
Dear Freehub, please do a review of the Yeti SB150, would really appreciate it!
the bike is a little bit noisy though, huh..? i couldn't get my mind off that derailleur slapping around back there
you guys are just the very best
How would you think this compares to other current long travel 29ers? Norco sight and Transition Sentinel??
loved the review! would love for you to try the 2021 nuke proof mega 290
Is it just me or did the stumpjumper EVO look way faster?
The bike sounds a bit rattly downhill, what do you think that is?
Great review too, prefer this format to what Pinkbike etc do. Subed!
Probably those XTs. 😁🙊
How does this climb compared to the new Wreckoning?
North Shore ready for sure!
Dude, I hope those weren't Blackberry bushes! 7:33
Does the Fox X2 have a 'climb switch'
Yet again another awesome review!! 👌 Be super nice if you could get your hands on the Propain Tyee CF 29 as there's currently not one video review online and be really interested on your thoughts.
Will the xl fit me at 6'6?
