They all seem so overly produced. The spooky music, sometimes played while you're watching investigators "investigating", the unnecessarily "horror themed" background story monologues of the place, a lead investigator who tries to pick a fight with ghosts, contrived scenes where a person is sent off alone and jumps at every sound they hear, etc. They're entertaining, but Dan Bell's stuff feels more genuine and the editing in of spooky music doesn't get in the way.

Dan's face during the whole "furnace-are-you-buried-down-there" interrogation was priceless! Jesus, why don't I have friends like these with whom I could go out on cool ghost hunting adventures? Instead I'm this lone weirdo trying to astral travel because I get bored here... Also, Dan's question about whether the girl's spirit would follow them or not home was dead on. It has been reported that sometimes explorers of haunted places drag spirits or energies of some sort back to their homes.
As an electrical engineer who works on incredibly sensitive infrastructure, I don’t put much faith in devices like those since practically anything will set them off; from cell phones, to inductance, to even vibrations or squeezing them. That being said, Dan, if you could forward me the location (I’d keep it between us), I have the ability to pull up all former owners/occupants and research their histories for you.

Two things I've noticed. At 15:35 when the camera goes out of focus, it looks like a female in a dress is standing in the back of the room. Then at 16:27 there was a faint whisper that said no to Dan's question.
I find it interesting that the auto-focus works just fine until Rick turns in the direction of where they said they were. Then it has trouble locking on..... Something just at the edge of the IR spectrum causing confusion?
This went from scary, to legitimately interesting, to heart warming because they're supposedly opening communication to someone who died a horrible death

15:35 watch behind Dan to the left of the screen. U can see a shadow of light move as Rick pans up. (There is a light reflected I'm not talking about that, although the reflection from that light is right in front of the silhouette) the shadow looks in the shape of a person moving towards Dan behind him & it's not a dark shadow but a blurry light shadow almost like a blurry light outline of a person's silhouette.

Dan a better way to ask questions would be to start out with telling them that a long beep/one beep for “yes” or short beep/two beeps for “no”. That way you set up a code for communicating. Idk I’m a real skeptic about this and it’s hard to actually tell if this isn’t just you reacting to beeps. However, the beeping right after the questions and the long urgent beeps after urgent questions makes me think....

This is an odd one, I knew you guys don't believe in ghosts, as you've stated many times, and you don't fake footage (I know you staged that one video as part of a project, but that doesn't count) so I dunno what to think. The camera going out of focus at the right moment was interesting, and there are several signs here, but I'm honestly not sure. I'd say I'm 50/50 on ghosts, but this is pushing me over the edge currently (until some idiot hypebeast UA-camr makes another fake video).

that was terrifying, luckily she seemed like a nice ghost, i've lived in multiple houses with not so nice ghosts. my sister used to have an apartment with a girl that would scream into our ears to wake us up while we were trying to sleep in the middle of the night
Dan, go to 15:25 . After you ask, "Can we see you?" a girl's voice replies, "Not yet". It will be on the right side of the stereo signal. If you have studio headphones, crank them up and you should be able to hear it. It's faint, but it's there. Nice capture!

Probably shouldn't be watching this at night, but this is good stuff, that meter was going crazy. Its cool your are so nice to the spirits, they were giving good responses in the basement.
Dan Bell just legitimizes everything he does in the paranormal. Something about him gets results. It could be his calmness, his sincerity or his ability to film so beautifully, I just dont know but I love this channel.
I believe it was being triggered by your audio equipment. That's why it seemed to "react" to you talking. And why it beeped so much when you were crunching around and moving loudly. That combined with the leading questions and repeatedly asking questions until you got the response you wanted allowed you to create a story. Love your content, always fun to watch.

The camera going out of focus at the right moment was interesting, and there are several signs here, but I'm honestly not sure. I'd say I'm 50/50 on ghosts, but this is pushing me over the edge currently (until some idiot hypebeast UA-camr makes another fake video).

I find it very authentic cuz when you’re talking to each other, it doesn’t go off. Seems like Dan may be a believer now. How does he feel about that creepy house now where you and Rick holed up in the attic after noises downstairs and then doors slamming on 2nd floor. You should make an SLS Camera!
that was terrifying, luckily she seemed like a nice ghost, i've lived in multiple houses with not so nice ghosts. my sister used to have an apartment with a girl that would scream into our ears to wake us up while we were trying to sleep in the middle of the night

Dan Bell just legitimizes everything he does in the paranormal. Something about him gets results. It could be his calmness, his sincerity or his ability to film so beautifully, I just dont know but I love this channel.

I believe it was being triggered by your audio equipment. That's why it seemed to "react" to you talking. And why it beeped so much when you were crunching around and moving loudly. That combined with the leading questions and repeatedly asking questions until you got the response you wanted allowed you to create a story. Love your content, always fun to watch.
