I love the videos! They are fun to watch and you can learn a lot. It’s been a pleasure learning and passing the time during the CV-19 watching Bruce a true craftsman at work. What kind of cutting torch do you use, Bruce? I’ve been cutting mine out with a band saw.
I use a lightweight Victor cutting torch rig I got at my local welding supply.

What size of round stock do you use for your rowel pins and your strap hangers? I have started making spurs out of farriers rasps and your videos have been a tremendous help! Thank you!!
I use 3/16 of an inch round cold rolled rod for rowel pins and hanger loops. Thanks for watching!
You stay away from hot rolled to keep cost down or is it much of a difference?
Much more complicated than leather work!!
