IN 2003/4 CAT EMPIRE TOOK A CHANCE ON 3D, AROUND THE TIME OF GORRILAZ SHO0TING ALL THEIR VIDEO CLIPS IN ANIMATION
Virgin Records and Cat Empire approached us in 2003/4 to produce an animated video clip of their song 145, given the world was fascinated with the blend of animation and music clips, at the time being dominated by Gorillaz in the USA.
Our Animation Team had an awesome time, and lots of late nights together, on this project. It was a lot of fun and clearly dated by today's standards, but it was all about the experience and the enjoyment of doing something different, which was an awesome opportunity back then to simply experiment.
Going back over our animation and film years, this clip just brought back memories of our son Shane, all of around 8 years old, dancing around the Office to this music track as we were working on it. It was pure enjoyment and hard work at a time when things in life were a lot simpler...
