Welcome back to Hourless Life where we are overlanding around the world.
In this episode, we take you with us to the magical city of Cuenca, Ecuador.
We tour the city of Cuenca, share some of the activities available, meet up with overlanding friends, and even take you outside the city on an epic hike through El Cajas National Park.
The majority of this video is from Brittany's perspective. You'll get to know her a little more and hear a little of her heart in this video.

🌎 Who we are and what we’re doing:
We’re Eric + Brittany + Caspian Highland, and we’re driving around the world! We left the United States in October 2021 and have been exploring South America since November 2022. Over 10-15 years total, we intend to drive across all six habitable continents. We started traveling full-time in February 2014 and have never looked back.

So wonderful to see so much of Cuenca. You've made me really want to visit someday [bucket list]. I love seeing Caspian growing up, speaking Spanish, and enjoying his life on the road.
It really is an incredible city and we highly recommend a visit. You could get lost in this city there is so much to see and do. ~ Eric
Grateful for your family and the beautiful way you are sharing your journey! The hard as well as the fun parts. Cuenca is an intriguing city! Definitely a place I'd like to visit. The lake hike...hearing and seeing the joy while Caspian and his friends explored brought me joy! You guys are doing a great job on these videos! Extra special to hear you narrate more Brittany. As a mom and wife I really enjoyed hearing your perspective.
Thanks Terah! Brittany enjoys narrating too. But UA-cam videos are a lot of dedicated work and I'm the one who edits them so Brittany usually contributes during editing days by taking Caspian away from wherever I'm editing so that I can focus. Glad you enjoyed the video. Hope to find a way to get Brittany more involved in sharing her thoughts on the videos too. ~ E

Were you guys still there when terrorists took over that television station? How far were you from where that happened?
We weren't, but we were there in Ecuador when the Presidential candidate was assassinated. ~ Eric
