I got a set of acrylic nails put on for my wedding in 1980 when I was 21. I have damage to three of my fingers on the left hand and I grew up with people constantly asking "what happened to your hand?" After I got the nails I wore sparkles, bright neon colors, dressed them up for the holidays. Tney are my thing now. It's now 42 years later, my beloved husband passed 💔 but I still have my nails and probably always will. It drives my younger sister crazy I get my nails done which makes me want to do them even more. Now I wear just pink and white and occasionally gel colors for holidays and special occasions. I admire anyone who can do their own nails because that just isn't me. I don't do pedi's either. I pay for those too. It's my monthly treat to myself.
I love having these videos play in the background while I do my own nails. Especially when I'm home alone. Mary is so comforting! It just feels like we're sitting around chatting like friends ❤❤ love u Mary! Thanks for keeping me company.

I don’t know whether you’ll see this, but I thought that I might as well give it a try! I’ve been watching/listening to your videos for about a year now. Your ramble videos have been especially useful to me, as they allow my brain to focus on things that are unrelated to my own life as I go to sleep. I also find myself always going back to your Aldi hauls- they seem to work in the same way. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks again and also Happy New Year! Can’t wait to see the content that you create in 2022!
I find that I have to redo my nails about every 48 hours because I clean so much they chip so bad and i do use a base and top coat. I wish it would last a week at lease. 💅
