I saw the Captain Future TV show decades ago, on German television. Maybe the best thing about watching it in German was the FANTASTIC music by Christian Bruhn which was far, FAR better than the mediocre original music. I do wish I could have heard the original voices, but too bad, Germans hate having to listen to other languages and so they translate everything foreign into German. Well my German isn't that bad, so that was okay I guess. Not sure why these 67 minutes are called a ''radio play'' it's obvious this is the audio part of the TV show 😊
"Germans hate having to listen to other languages"? Germans had no choice and they got used to dubbed US films and english music replacing german traditional music, now dominating their radios and charts: "Dubbing didn’t gain prominence until after World War II, when Allied forces took control of Germany and cinemas began to exclusively screen Allied content (which had been banned during the war). The Allied forces saw that the best way to reach and re-educate the local audience was by hiding the “foreignness” of their films by dubbing them into German."
Feine Sache. Wieder ein ganzes Kapitel original serie Captain Future mit den altbekannten Stimmen 👨🏻🚀 Danke!
