Hey guys my dream is to one day be a full time UA-camr.That dream could come true with your help. check out Patreon.com/rockmusicpodcast I have some great videos on their from great artists like Jimi Hendrix, U2,AC/DC and many more
I’m glad you watched this. This is Rush at there best. I saw them live 19 times. Of all the concerts I’ve seen, they do it the best, live. Rock on, bro
Inducted into the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame 2013…. I was fortunate enough to see them in concert, and by far the longest and my favorite concert ever….. Rush is a working band for over for decades that’s why you see an actual working washer and dryer with clothes in it on stage
I was 11 years old the first time i saw them on the Hemispheres tour here in the UK . I went on a school trip to see this tour in 1981 organised by our music department at school, best school trip ever.
I remember watching that whole concert when it aired on mtv…geniuses all 3… Alex playing at the top of his game. Neil’s drum fill in the second chorus gets me every time, all these 42 years later. Love Rush.
I have seen Rush 9 times they actually played my high school in 74. I have seen them perform Xanadu 3x and this tour was by far the best. Neil amazing has a whole orchestral percussion here temple blocks, wind chimes and triangles everywhere, glockenspiel, bell tower, tubular bells, his massive kit and he writes the lyrics. Geddy playing synth, foot pedal organ, bass, rhythm guitar and vocals, Alex his usual self flawless, he should be a top ten guitarist not many better. 3 guys making it sound like 5 huge!!!!! Canada Rocks!!!!!!!
This song was filmed in Montreal Canada. I saw them a few days later in Edmonton. This is my favourite version of Xanadu. No overdubs! No Loops! No backing tracks! Alex playing 6 and 12 string guitars and Moog Bass Pedals. Geddy shredding the Bass, keyboards, playing bass, singing and playing Moog Bass Pedals all at the same time! Then with Neil on the entire percussion section. Best band ever. You can hear the crescendo of the crowd for appreciation of how well they performed this song live. I was so fortunate to see this live in 1981.
These guys sound like their albums in concert, not many bands I can say for that and the fact they sound like they have 5 members making all that sound. Very highly regarded among their peers and at one time or another over the years each member were voted best at their instruments, and they all come from the same band. Incredible musicians, and the song 2112 kinda put them in the forefront if you want to see the real mastery of Neil Peart.
I would say even better in shows... they always challenged themselves to become better, and modified their songs over the years to make them slightly more difficult so they keep giving them challenges in show. The original versions are great, the later live versions are just different in the right way (maybe not better, that's a question of personal taste, but it makes it more interesting to find more and more versions of each song)
I totally agree with you, Rush has always been a live band. The comparison I was making is that on a studio recorded album every instrument is clear and the band is tight sounding and polished, but Rush just sounds like that polished live but even better.
That was another thing about these guys, they were always on top of technology when it came to audio, it wasn't just how their instruments sounded, but how their music was projected audio wise in concert. Always made the difference too.
The best Live recorded album RUSH ever did by far ! This is such an Epic song and will Challenge any player of instruments to play correctly. LOL, I got the whole concert downloaded for my watching pleasure. Loved the Reaction bro !
Welcome to my favorite live performance of my all-time favorite band! I got turned on to Rush in 1975 and I'm now 64 and enjoying seeing you and others of this generation getting turned on to amazing music from years ago. I was at this tour when they played in 1981 at the L.A. Forum. I've seen Rush many times over the years. 3 Virtuosos playing all the instruments, including Moog Pedals. Neil is your favorite drummer's favorite drummer. Just incredible. Enjoy!
I've seen Rush live over ten times in the 80's, 90's, 00's, and 10's. The reason people need to see Rush live is because it is hard to believe that three guys can actually play that music in front of a live audience. They always surprised us, and they would always play things that you would never expect. They truly ARE freaks of nature. This is REAL music.
Rush usually leaves folks with their jaws touching the floor when they first witness their display of musicianship, combined with the spectacle of a stage production.🤘🖖✌️🥁🎸🎹🎤
Neil Peart, Rush`s drummer is the greatest Drummer that has ever banged on the percussion. He in fact, has a Doctorate in percussion from a Canadian University and was a Professor in percussion at that university. Sadly we lost Neil a couple years back. RIP Professor Neil!
Rush is beyond amazing in the studio, but the fact they can reproduce it live is unbelievable. I’ve played drums for over 40 years and I love Bonham and Keith Moon (both huge influences of mine) but Neil’s playing (and composing) is over their heads. Oh, and he writes the lyrics!
Rush Moving Pictures tour 1981 was my first concert, was just a kid, loved Rush but didn't know all of their songs, to say it blew my mind is obvious, it became a high-water mark for all live band performances and stage shows, they just love composing and playing their own music and that love is so infectious and translates so well in concert. They wrote for themselves first, they had to play the songs so they wanted to craft music they would love to play over and over, if the fans get it, even better, but Rush never dumbed-down their music for mass appeal, they didn't treat their listeners as too dumb to "get it"
"The singer plays bass" is a statement about to be blown away by the video you chose. In this video, Geddy Lee plays bass, keyboards, and 12-string guitar, as well as bass pedals so he do more than one at a time... all while singing. Alex Lifeson plays 6- and 12-string guitars and foot pedals and saying Neal Peart plays drums is a HUGE understatement! This is a great song to be introduced to the virtuosity of band Rush. If you haven't checked it out already, check out the official live version of La Villa Strangiato. It's just amazing.
Can you believe there’s only three dudes making all that noise. What’s special about Rush live you ask? Their ability to replicate (or even improve upon) the masterwork they did in the studio with only the three of them. Cheers!
Alex is the master of tone. Here he is great, so many voices. 45 years he has taken us to other worlds. A lot of us older fans like to check Rush reactions out. It often leads us to stay around for a bit for a few that we like. This was a fun reaction for me, much like my reaction on the "down the tubes tour" when I first saw them in late 1975.
Three musicians - seven necks!! Geddy sings, plays incredible bass, keyboards, a little six string guitar, and foot pedals for bass and keys. Alex plays 6 and 12 string, plus bass pedals, plus pedals for key triggers. Neil plays an entire orchestra percussion section. And none of them miss a note.
The studio version (on the album Farewell to Kings) is very good. But, the live version adds an energy that lifts it to another level. It is also amazing to see all that those three guys did. You see Neil’s kit, including just about any percussion tool there is. Then the double necks both Alex and Geddy play. First thought many have is “this is just for show.” Then they use all of it. Every last bit of equipment. And they move from one musical movement to another seamlessly. Transitions are flawless. Unreal. You really should watch Dave Grohl and the late Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters induct Rush into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They are witty about it, but they capture the reverence other rock musicians had for this band. m.ua-cam.com/video/RTAqCEPMHEg/v-deo.html
A Rush fan since 1977, don't know how many shows I've been to. They manage to make it seem there is at least 3 more members of the band, but it's just three Masters of thier instruments working hard. It's so hard to think that there will never be a chance to see them again. RIP Neil.
Great reaction. You just witnessed on of the best live performances of all time by one of the best trios of all time. You definitely need to react to more live Rush. These guys are all right there with the best of all time on their respective instruments. They put a lot of emphasis on being able to to perform their songs live as good as they did in the studio. I will suggest some of my favorite live performances below. 1) "La Villa Strangiato" The official video. This one was recorded in one take on a closed stage so no audience but still live and it is from 1978 I believe. This song in a musical masterpiece and this performance is my personal favorite of it. m.ua-cam.com/video/eK1hmDpa8bo/v-deo.html 2) "Working Man HD - Live In Cleveland" This is from 2011 I think. It is a great example of a band taking one of their clastic songs and putting a new spin on it. For this one they are in their fifties and they put on an amazing performance. m.ua-cam.com/video/Gj5slzbiopw/v-deo.html 3) "Natural Science" - 1997/06/30 - Molson Amphitheatre, Toronto, Ontario CAN - This is an amazing performance of one of my favorite songs. m.ua-cam.com/video/EndaI-okEIc/v-deo.html 4) "YYZ & Neil Peart Drum Solo" - 2022 Deluxe Remaster - Birmingham, 1988- This remaster was just put up by StickHits . It is from the live album/ video "A Show Of Hands" . In my opinion this is the best live version of this song by far. The recording quality of the sound and video on the original were not great but this remaster is amazing, It really is a must see and so far no reactors have reacted to this remaster. Most people react to the live in Rio version which is great but it does not have the drum solo which is phenomenal. YYZ are the call letters for the Toronto International airport. Neil and Geddy came up with the song from the Morse code for YYZ. m.ua-cam.com/video/2E85dkOYhtQ/v-deo.html
I'm mainly a visual person myself, and I've always been partial to recommending live performances because IMO the visual elements, not to mention seeing the masters at work, simply take the songs to a whole new level. For two more legendary performances, I recommend their epic masterpiece 2112 as performed at Toronto's Molson Amphitheater in 1997, and Natural Science from the same show. Cheers from Canada! 🇨🇦 🎤 🎹 🎸 🥁 🎸 🔥 🔥 🔥
Welcome to the club! This era is them in their prime and it's what all live shows are judged by; musically and visually. They are the real deal! Listen and react to Freewill from the Exit Stage Left as well. You won't be disappointed.
Quite simply this is three geniuses at the peak of their creativity and masters of their art....you will never see a three piece band play like this again......in a hundred years from now this will be spoken about as a classic. I saw this tour in London 1981 and it is by far the finest gig I've ever seen...and I've seen plenty.
I saw Rush during this tour, December ‘81. Like someone else posted, their live performance is levels above their studio albums. All three are very talented. Neil Peart was imo the best drummer on the planet. Alex Lifeson doesn’t get enough credit for what he adds. Geddy Lee does more than you realize by watching videos like this. You can see us him playing bass while singing, but what you can’t see, he also plays a foot pedal synthesizer at the same time. Three things at once. No way I could do that.
that was one of the best things about this band, they gave you the same quality or better in live shows. and they were absolutely 100% percent committed to putting everything on the stage for their fans.
@@philbrowning1187 right on point. Rush is my top band of all time every era every album is worth hearing end to end…ok not Test For Echo. Seen them live, through college and after, 10 times, which is a very low count for fans.
Kinda reminds me of my son's 1st reaction to Rush at the Snakes and Arrows tour at Red Rocks in Colorado. He was 17 at the time. After about the 3rd song, his face was a mirror of yours. How do 3 guys make that much sound??? Alex ang Geddy did their thing and Neil added his usual 10 - 15 drum solo. 3 hours, with a 20 minute break, at altitude. Un-freaking-beliveable. My son didn't say much on the 1.5 hour drive home. When we got home, we got out of the car, he hugged me and said "Thanks Dad. I love you"....'And I also love Rush!!!' Rush endures...
I'm one of the ones from that generation and there was a time I was a professional musician as a drummer, so of course I studied Bonham and of course Neil's work, with Neil that level always increased! I was fortunate to see them live from 1982 until the 2000's, I couldn't make the last 2 tours. There is a Rabbit hole here with Rush, 40 years of material!!!
I've seen Rush seven times, the first was the Signals tour in 82, I was 16. They sound amazing live, their songs are the same as on their records. I sang along with every one, every time. Love this band. A Farewell to Kings is one of my Top 10 albums of all time. When I was your age I listened to them pretty much constantly.
I was fortunate enough to see them live on their "Moving Pictures" tour. Absolutely phenomenal! Made my 10th grade year unforgetable. Thanks for your reaction. They really are special.
"Wow!" Great reaction. Other recommended Rush: Spirit of the Radio Limelight (live) YYZ - live in Rio 2112 - Cartoon story video Working Man - live in Cleveland
Peart was a huge Keith Moon fan. Not bragging but I saw this tour in London . It was incredible. At one point I said to my to friends " Surely they're miming ; no one can be this tight " !!!
The studio version of Xanadu is played live in studio (one take, I think). It's good, very tight, but not as good as this version, which hits a new musical level. The live version of La Villa Strangiato from the Exit Stage Left album is also next level, amazing guitar solo. Audio only, but worth it.
Sounds like this could be your favorite Rush song, I was fortunate to see them 5 times in the 70s always a great concert Working Man live in Cleveland is a must!
I really love how you have ur screen setup. Y t is crazy in the way they block vids. Some have to make the vid so small or blurred that you can't see it at all. Even as an older fella who has enjoyed this music for decades, there are tons of these gems on video I've never seen. That's a huge part of me watching reaction vids. I let you guys do the work and I just sit back and enjoy seeing things I've never seen before, and watching younger folks discover music of my time. Win win. Keep it up brother. New sub here ✌🏼🤘🏻
RUSH is THE PERFECT EXAMPLE of the fluidity of MASTERING TIME SIGNATURES! I play drums and there are a few things that you need to know about Neil Peart’s ( pronounced PEER-T) character: First he writes the lyrics so he knows in advance what TYPE of song it’s meant to be ie ballad, driver, etc. Second he COMPOSES on the drums… like a carpenter who looks at a set of blueprints before building the object. Neil lays out a SKETCH in his mind of the VOICES of the drumset and builds the song from there. He is also a great LISTENER knowing when NOT to step over Geddy’s singing or Alex’s solos! Finally, he had perfect timing and fluidity of time changes. He said himself that it’s not about COUNTING the time signatures as much as fluid motion to change the tempo without counting: in other words it should FLOW! He hates repeating the same drum patterns in the same song meaning if he plays a fill one way the first time around he will play it differently the second time around. IE. Rolls down the toms the first time around and triplets or quads (all four limbs) the second time around. In short there will NEVER be another like him on planet earth 🌍 🌏 🌎! REST IN PEACE PROFESSOR! With heart felt admiration and sincerity! Gary
I was 24 years old during this tour - but not yet a Rush fan. Went to a Red Sox/A's game in Oakland and Rush was doing THIS tour in the arena, which shares the same parking lot. I was at the wrong event. Didn't become a fan until a few years later. Got to see them live 3 times. Yeah, you really missed something special. At least you can relive the recorded performances.
Based on the epic poem Kubla Khan by Samuel Taylor Coleridge. In grade 12, we had to choose a poem and connect it to our times. The teacher let me play Xanadu for the class after I explained the poem. I saw them for their Farewell to Kings album tour here in Ottawa which is where this song is from. Masterpiece.
geddyn said they nevernhave anything before a show. rehearse 2 weeks alone for the rehearsal, another 6-8 weeks together then 2 weeks with the bnd, lights etc. so they are very tight and took pride in being able to do the album live.
They are masters of their instruments check out all live...working man in cleveland and yyz in rio and la villa strangiato and natural science live they are geniuses
Speaking of them putting on a show, in the later years, the concert would start with a video in which all three played silly parts. They had no over blown egos, and loved to make fun of themselves in the videos. A favorite of mine is the opening for their Time Machine tour. The video leads into the opening song, The Spirit of Radio. Then, following an intermission, a second video is played to open them playing the entire Moving Pictures album. Both are hilarious.
Take it easy on the young lad…he’s just figuring things out. I don’t think he has any instrument training either to have that type of appreciation as well.
Becarefull you gonna be a RUSH fan, the masters of the progressive rock. You said that Neil go crazy at the end of the song that's mistake he had all planed. In every show of a tour play the same un each son that's why was called "The Profesor". Take a look to Neil's Peart drums solo in Frankfurt. Great reaction.
These three dudes are so freakin amazing live Check out 2011 live Cleveland version of workin man Shows that even in their 50’s we’re still TIGHT as hell an so freakin gooooood
Everything you hear on a studio album is exactly the same in concert! Rush goes out of their way to make sure that it sounds the same if not better. That's one of the greatest things about them is that you get your money's worth and then some when you go to a show
Thanks for the reply dude! Check out Pink Floyd Pulse live. All tracks are great and the the stage is from anther wold. They only played 5 cities in the US. When I found the DVD I had to get it, since I couldn't make it to the Dallas show. The tour was in 1994 and the shows were beyond any band out there. I still get goosebumps with the song Comfortably Numb. It's about one of the band members got very I'll as a child.
Hey I thought this would be a good one since I've not seen anyone else do it. Check out the band Yes and the live version of the Yessongs tour. I suggest the song And You And I. The tour is from 1977, not sure where it was at
later they added movies such as that darn dragon on r30. if you like alex try his solo la villa strangiado. neil does stuff like the weapon live with alex dancing around the stage. or the instrumental with drum solo where's my thing here it is live in dallas. bass solo with geddy starts it out.
No fucking shit that was great dude it’s rush it’s fucking rush what you just witness is greatness. Something tells me you don’t hear too much greatness very often well now you have.
Love Rush. Hey, how about a reaction to one of Alex Lifeson's inspirations, the legendary Irish guitarist Rory Gallagher? Rory was courted by the Rolling Stones and was held in high esteem by Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix but never reached the same level of fame since he followed the music, not the fashion or sound of the day. Rory lived to perform live, so check out any of his Rockpalast concerts, the Rock Goes to College 1979 or the super high energy of his 1979 Montreux performance. Shin Kicker, Bullfrog Blues, Tattoo'd Lady, and Do You Read Me? are all outstanding .
Hey guys my dream is to one day be a full time UA-camr.That dream could come true with your help. check out Patreon.com/rockmusicpodcast I have some great videos on their from great artists like Jimi Hendrix, U2,AC/DC and many more
You're doing good! you need to come up with something that differentiates you from other reactors.
Man I can feel you! This has to be the best ever 3 piece band so far... and maybe for 1000 years to come. And I have seen and heard them live...
The best live rock performance I've ever seen.
Seeing Rush live in the late 70s, then early 80s, then again in the Early 90s at the forum.. never disappointed.. The professor, Alex, and Geddy!!
I’m glad you watched this. This is Rush at there best. I saw them live 19 times. Of all the concerts I’ve seen, they do it the best, live. Rock on, bro

Hey, seen RUSH live in 1988 in Halifax, Nova Scotia,Canada! Best live two-and-a-half-hour concert ever!
Alex on that guitar to start it just incredible. They set the stage very well on this intro.
I have seen Rush 9 times they actually played my high school in 74. I have seen them perform Xanadu 3x and this tour was by far the best. I couldn’t believe how incredible the show was
Well said.
Saw them in Germany on this tour, brilliant live, wish I had got to see them again.

Hey, my young friend, I saw Rush in 1988 (Power Windows Tour) in Halifax. Nova Scotia, Canada!!✌🤟 Best live rock band ever!!!
Hey my young friend, seen RUSH in 1988, the Best concert ever (2 and a half hours ) Power Windows Tour.
Neil's on a level by himself....
My first concert also...I was 17. (12/22/81)
I was and u are right, it was the greatest time to live in in ROCK HISTORY, SHOW ME better.....

Wuite simply the greatest live performance by three musicians ever imagined...
That was 1981... Nothing compares to Rush live
When Geddy Lee starts singing, he is playing bass but you can also hear synth sounds. He is playing the synth with foot pedals
1st off jb and km couldn't tie Niels shoelace. Greatest drummer ever. RIP. Neil.
You just had a master class in Rock and Roll.
Can you believe there’s only three dudes making all that noise. What’s special about Rush live you ask? Their ability to replicate (or even improve upon) the masterwork they did in the studio with only the three of them. Cheers!

4) "YYZ & Neil Peart Drum Solo" - 2022 Deluxe Remaster - Birmingham, 1988- This remaster was just put up by StickHits .

Thanks for the suggestions I will be sure to do all of these on my channel
Great list!
THE BEST TRIO OF ALL TIMES!!!
Getty Lee is one very talented musician. Double neck bass/guitar, keyboard, vocals, song writing.
🎤 🎹 🎸 🥁 🎸 🔥 🔥 🔥
Ok thanks for the suggestions I will check those out
RUSH: making other bands say WTF since 1974!
This song was recorded in one take when they recorded it for posterity when recording A Farewell to Kings.
Welcome to the club! This era is them in their prime and it's what all live shows are judged by; musically and visually. They are the real deal! Listen and react to Freewill from the Exit Stage Left as well. You won't be disappointed.
THE ENDING SAYS: RUSH: XANADU: THE OPUS: THE MAGNA CARTA OF PROGRESSIVE ROCK 🎶 🎼 🎵❤️😍😘💋🥰😎🙌🏻👏🏻🤟🏻🤘🏻👍🏻
Now, it's time for "YYZ Live in Rio". Neil Peart(The Professor) passed away in January of 2020.
I've been to 5 Rush concerts back in the 78 through 81. They never never put on a bad show,. Icons of Rock!
Super reaction. You should try YYZ live in Rio, roughly 24 years after the Xanadu performance… an eye opener
Even the recent performance at the Taylor Hawkins tribute with Danny Karey on drums was fn epic, 42 years later... it's a must watch, my friends!
best band of them all
that was one of the best things about this band, they gave you the same quality or better in live shows. and they were absolutely 100% percent committed to putting everything on the stage for their fans.
one of Canadas best bands...they were usually better live than the albums
I totally agree they sound so much better live in my opinion
The best Canadian band, and one of the best of all time.
I love you"....'And I also love Rush!!!'
Rush endures...
Excellent Review.
Rush are totally fantastic.
Great Band.
Keep Rockin'🎸🙂

I was lucky enough to see Rush 7 times over the years including this tour. They were incredible every time. Great reaction.
Dude notice at the end the bass player Geddy plays the guitar along with keyboards and vocals He is the best of all time !!!!
Thanks for watching and I’m excited to be going down the rabbit hole
We "Were To All Those Shows" lol haha 😛
Lol thanks for watching
I've seen Rush seven times, the first was the Signals tour in 82, I was 16. They sound amazing live, their songs are the same as on their records. I sang along with every one, every time. Love this band. A Farewell to Kings is one of my Top 10 albums of all time. When I was your age I listened to them pretty much constantly.
I was fortunate enough to see them live on their "Moving Pictures" tour. Absolutely phenomenal! Made my 10th grade year unforgetable. Thanks for your reaction. They really are special.
"Wow!" Great reaction. Other recommended Rush:
Spirit of the Radio
Limelight (live)
YYZ - live in Rio
2112 - Cartoon story video
Working Man - live in Cleveland
I will check it out
Great reaction. Peart is #1 by far
Peart was a huge Keith Moon fan.
Not bragging but I saw this tour in London . It was incredible. At one point I said to my to friends
" Surely they're miming ; no one can be this tight " !!!
I don't know a lot about The Who, but I do like the boisterous drumming in Behind BLue Eyes, for example. You can hear a lot of that in a lot of Neil.
@@michaelzilkowsky2936 100 % correct. Peart was a huge fan of Moon
Look for "YYZ" live in Rio. It's awesome, too. The crowd in Brazil goes wild!
The studio version of Xanadu is played live in studio (one take, I think). It's good, very tight, but not as good as this version, which hits a new musical level. The live version of La Villa Strangiato from the Exit Stage Left album is also next level, amazing guitar solo. Audio only, but worth it.
yeah this one -- ua-cam.com/video/yXebJIG5MZY/v-deo.html
Sounds like this could be your favorite Rush song, I was fortunate to see them 5 times in the 70s always a great concert Working Man live in Cleveland is a must!
Was lucky enough to be at the R40 concert filming show in Toronto it was amazing over 3 hours of great music
Wow your lucky
Great reaction
Thanks
yOU SHOULD watch Neil's drum sole from Germany.
New sub here ✌🏼🤘🏻
Thanks buddy. UA-cam is crazy with blockin stuff man I just do the best I can and hope they don’t block anything. Thanks for watching

Wow your lucky I wish I could have saw them live
Most of the rock bands back then put on good shows!! This is why the 70s were/still the best decade of music.
The pinnacle of Prog. This and Hemispheres. I really like the big picture
🥰 More Rush please! 😁🐰
geddyn said they nevernhave anything before a show. rehearse 2 weeks alone for the rehearsal, another 6-8 weeks together then 2 weeks with the bnd, lights etc. so they are very tight and took pride in being able to do the album live.
Welcome to the Rush wave
I saw this Moving Pictures tour on back to back nights at the ol’ Capital Center in Largo,MD back in 1981.
Still have the ticket stubs.
Wow your lucky
This song, and this version in particular, is their opus. This is a masterpiece.
Amazing!
Thanks!
Good stuff!
The best / it’s an experience/ about the best authentic best song version / there are many Xanadu versions this is the the the the best
We say listen live, because many people write off amazing sounds like this as just being something that can't be recreated live.
Close to Bonham and Moon? Neil isn’t close to anyone. He is/was on another plane of existence. RIP.
These three dudes are so freakin amazing live
Check out 2011 live Cleveland version of workin man
Shows that even in their 50’s we’re still TIGHT as hell an so freakin gooooood
Of course and I will check that out
Neil Peart is considered by many the best drummer of all time. All three are top musicians.
Hey I thought this would be a good one since I've not seen anyone else do it. Check out the band Yes and the live version of the Yessongs tour. I suggest the song And You And I. The tour is from 1977, not sure where it was at
Best Live Performance
Alex Lifeson - 6 string guitar, 12 string guitar, pedal synthesizer, volume pedal; Geddy Lee - Vocals, bass guitar, 6 string guitar, foot pedal synthesizer, electric piano/synthesizer; Neil Peart - Lyrics, Drums, orchestra bells, tubular bells, wind chimes, crotales, timbales, timpani, gong, temple blocks, bell tree, triangle, and melodic cowbells.
later they added movies such as that darn dragon on r30. if you like alex try his solo la villa strangiado. neil does stuff like the weapon live with alex dancing around the stage. or the instrumental with drum solo where's my thing here it is live in dallas. bass solo with geddy starts it out.
YYZ live in Rio is another wow
