I kinda feel bad that we didn't get any stories where Carrie and Penny got the spotlight as a duo. In fact, despite the fact that both are fairly major characters, we never saw them interact outside of the season 2 episode _The Flower._ I feel like there is some missed potential there between those two. Perhaps in Season 7, we could have an episode where both try to organize a birthday party for Gumball and Darwin. Their attempts to make it the best party possible are foiled by a variety of factors, which leaves the two frustrated, until they realize that their boyfriends are just happy that they tried their best.
One of the best boy-girl platonic relationships I've seen. They just bounce off each other so well. Not to mention the character development she gets. She goes from being antagonistic towards Gumball (and even Anais) in season 1 to being one of Gumball's best friends by the 2nd season.
