What thread do you usually use if you make crochet earrings? And where to buy that?

I usually use mercerized cotton thread size 8 or 10. I bought these locally on craft store or online.

Magic ring, 15 sc and close
Ch2, alternate 1dc and 2dc on each sc, close
Ch8, turn, ss on 4th dc, ch2, ss on 2nd from ss, ch1, turn
17dc on the 8ch (18 total)
Ss on the 2nd dc from the 8ch
Ch1, turn, 1sc on each 18dc
Ch2, turn, 1dc on next sc, ch2, 3dc on that 1dc, ss on next sc (repeat x9)

Love the tutorials but the letters should have been black color to make reading a lot easier.. to bright can’t even see what it says. I have to pause video and enlarged to read… just an advice but great tutorial..
