This is NOT "The Definitive Guide!" to central vacuum systems! And these are definitely not the best central vacuum units or the best overall central vacuum brands, other than the HP Products/VacuFlo brand, which is one of the oldest and better brands of central vacuum systems. I have been selling and installing, and servicing Central Vacuum Systems for over 45 years and have seen the strengths and weaknesses of the various brands over the years. Some have improved but others have gone down in quality.
@@stuartgoggans5198 thank you so much! We bought a house with a central vacuum system and some parts need to be replaced. Trying to figure out if it is in fact worth replacing the parts and what brand to replace it with since they are expensive.

Obviously I don't know who Installed and how your system was installed, but if was not installed poorly installed, then anything you repair or add will be worth it, both for having it as something to use now, and as a good feature of your home if you should ever sell it. I have been installing and repairing central vacuum systems for over 40 years (as well as retro installing one into each of the homes my wife and I have had over those years), and realy believe, they are the best way to vacuum your home, in the long run the most affordable.

I install beam central vacuums and they're very good to me. I would lie to hear your opinion on them
