The seat post is cool that’s something we can sell in the bike shop . There are so many that need one but don’t want to pay 300 plus an install . A lot of bikes won’t accept internal routed droppers so this is perfect for bikes under 1,000.. it will be an epic add on just like a seat with a hole in the middle. We work off commission and If we sell 3 accessories we get 3 bucks , 5 accessories 5 bucks . This reminds me I gotta add those up it’s been since September.

The cheap wires do well but not as slick, but the Pro wire is slick, and does not have a silly bad coating as Shimano XTR has, that's so bad it performs worse than any cheapnwire as the coating adds friction once it wears and it wears out in first ride. I have used the brake housing and wire too. They performed well. So they get the seal of approval from me.
Jeremiah talking about having a lockout and dropper lever reminded me of the scott spark 940 which has a triple lever setup for dual lockouts and a dropper post lol
Yeah when I owned a cannondale trail 8 it was a medium I had to cut off a good inch and half on the tube to lower the seat I still ended up buying a polygon premier 5 it fit better
I like that dropper. Been wanting one for my gravel bike and it doesn't have internal routing, and really didn't want to run another cable anyways. Might be good option for me!

I was just looking at this dropper but had the same concern about the bolt holes on my Cannondale as well. Thanks for the review. The real question is what happened to yesterdays video!?
It was meant to be temporary since we aren't really that kind of channel. I wanted to move on and get back to giving fair and honest feedback on how we feel about the bike for what it is and not distract people from that. We pride ourselves in being unbiased and I'm not sure new viewers would get that feeling from that rant🤣. We have a road trip planned to exchange the Kent and hopefully get one that we can test/review. We might include this explanation in that episode, not sure if it will make the cut though, we'll see how it comes out. If you enjoyed that rant, what would you think about a possible monthly podcast style video were we talk about the world of budget biking and related stuff?
I yelled from the other room the lever goes in the back , why would it not!! Then the correct way was front , I told j why is my brain still thinking it goes in the back & it’s irritating me ! He said bc your brain 🧠 thinks like his does! My brain is accepting it slowly !
🤣🤣🤣 Mine is too!!! We are both very backwards!! LOL Love that we think alike, J called it the first time we were around each other. Hey and don't tell anyone, imma totally flip it towards the back shshshshhhhhhhhh!!

Loving all the videos and everything I see of the sport, just need a budget entry point to keep the wife happy lol
Hey brother, thank you for the comment. That is very cool you enjoy that much, now regarding the bike desicion...I think you should shoot for the comp, it's a solid bike that is available and affordable. It has great potential, also they do offer a pretty sweet female comp for the WIFE!!!
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS thanks for the reply, That’s genius, I forgot all about the womens comp, and the store the next town over has both in stock so that works out good. Was nervous about my choice. Didn’t wanna commit to buying something and then find out, that just a few days or weeks later the next champ in budget bikes get released. However with the Trouvaille bait and switch scheme I’m comfortable that it won’t be the case lol. Speaking of, one of our stores has 1 Trouvaile, they don’t even have it on the shelf, it’s sitting in the back room in the same condition as the one you have. The assembler let me look at it but said he wasn’t comfortable selling it and pointed out all the same things you did. To be honest I’m pretty sure he was a fellow viewer.
We thought this dropper would be easy to put on non-dropper bikes so you don't have to stop at the top of DH runs or we hear about the saddle "all up in your junk" 🤣
Totally, yall nailed it!! We were just talking about how perfect it will be for my style of riding, uphill then down!! No up and down and up and down 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you so much, it's gonna be epic.
On a technical course, even on XC, wouldn’t it be preferable to not be taking your hand off the handle bars, while your body makes abrupt changes to your riding position and the bike is bobbing on rough terrain, down a steep slope, braking , or something else difficult? I see the dropper as a technical tool and not a convenience feature component.. I would spend $119 somewhere else on the bike.. Perhaps even pay a handyman that money to router slots in my bike to accommodate a dropper post with cable.. 😂
You did call me out when you got you post in the Mailtime. It's odd you remembered that far back that i was looking for a dropper and mentioned this one. My KS is an external cable neatly tucked on the side of it with a little help from Gorilla Tape because it spit it's insides out and the clip got lost. Lol
🤣🤣🤣 Man it just might!! Now the bike continues to hang up in the rafters. It will be brought out sooner ot later when we find a kid who can come across good on camera and give a Realtime Review!! 👊👊👊
I want to see the Tick ride Cheech with the dropper post backwards, gonna look like you're picking your butt 🤣. I agree, a clean cockpit is the way to go. The nation hooked you up via mailtime again! Oh yeah, Wolfman, you can use Cheech's old seat post as a club to keep Tick on track. 🦥

I would say for racing or a ton of XC you are probably right, but for our trails we will soon see. As far as rip-off goes, that's not for us to decide, that's for y'all as individuals to decide.
I'm building an ebike and that is the kind of dropper i am using. because ll mostly be on road dropping the post is a performance/comfort feature. up for performance, down for comfort.

@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS I like this idea 👍
I'm surprised Geo hasn't put out stanchion guards yet
Thats a great 💡
Dude, so so many comments I had, just gonna keep them to myself, lol
You do that! Hey brother congrats on 2000!!!!!
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS thanks man, I appreciate it
Wolf man is right lol also min insertion is at the back
Thanks😆👍
What do you think on the giant talon 4
Not a bad ride, saw one on the trails recently. Looks to be pretty similar to the axum dp
Hey mate I'm 5'5 too do you think a 100mm is big enough for us? I don't want one that goes too big simply for the waste of money
Hey brother I think 100 is big enough. You have a little room to when installing into the post, you'll be alright 👍
I dont think I'd pay 119 for a dropper without a remote but I have thought about getting a similar one for my gt
I've got ya, but it does do the same thing 👍
I yelled from the other room the lever goes in the back , why would it not!! Then the correct way was front , I told j why is my brain still thinking it goes in the back & it’s irritating me ! He said bc your brain 🧠 thinks like his does! My brain is accepting it slowly !
🤣🤣🤣 Mine is too!!! We are both very backwards!! LOL Love that we think alike, J called it the first time we were around each other. Hey and don't tell anyone, imma totally flip it towards the back shshshshhhhhhhhh!!
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS way cool, taking 2 customers to Mt Nebo tomorrow. I have to say friends , that get mad when I say customers .. we don’t wake early .. prob 1
1 hr till we reach our destination
Y’all fb message us if y’all wanna join
That was a good mailtime haul! Good job #wolfticknation
Hell yeah it was man, such a great MAILTIME!! #WOLFTICKNATION BABY!! WOOP WOOP!!!!
I know you don’t make recommendations but giving the state of bikes and what not currently, do you think buying a Schwinn Al comp from Walmart today for a beginner to work on modifying while just getting in to trail riding.
I’d just like to have my seat post tight enough to stay *PUT!*
🙏
A dropper post that doesn't require the courtesy of a reach around, nice.
😲😆😂🤣
🏆🔥💪 Great sharing!!! new subbed here! stay connected👍
Thank you so much brother, appreciate that very much. See you on the NEXT!!
Will that seat post Fit the mongoose ardor
Yes, it should fit perfectly👍 The Ardor is a 27.2 seat tube.
Ok thank you so much
you can finally say you got a wireless dropper for less
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Damn good point!! It's wireless for sure!!
🤣🤣🤣 Your a mess man! Lol But it would be nice for my style, uphill then down, not too much int he middle 👊
I still like my KS. Lol.
Nothing wrong with a KS!!
You did call me out when you got you post in the Mailtime. It's odd you remembered that far back that i was looking for a dropper and mentioned this one. My KS is an external cable neatly tucked on the side of it with a little help from Gorilla Tape because it spit it's insides out and the clip got lost. Lol
goes in the front
Yeah! I've gathered that!!!!!
It goes in the front
Too bad they don't make them on 31.6.
Really? That's a bummer 😕
What we really all want to know: Will this fit the 20” ozone 500 kids bike???
Hahaha, I’m probably the only one actually. Whatever happened to it?
🤣🤣🤣 Man it just might!! Now the bike continues to hang up in the rafters. It will be brought out sooner ot later when we find a kid who can come across good on camera and give a Realtime Review!! 👊👊👊
I want to see the Tick ride Cheech with the dropper post backwards, gonna look like you're picking your butt 🤣. I agree, a clean cockpit is the way to go. The nation hooked you up via mailtime again! Oh yeah, Wolfman, you can use Cheech's old seat post as a club to keep Tick on track. 🦥
Hey hey hey, cmon Sloth, I thought you were my boy!?!?! Ha ha it's it's good, love the entertaining comments man. Also the nation hooked us THE HELL UP!! See you soon brother, thanks for everything man.
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS Lol, yeah I'm your boy! I appreciate the entertaining videos you guys keep putting out!
Yeah they much uncomfortable to use and mine quit working in less than a year! ..
Really??
A remote is a must for more agressive riding. Plus the PNW branding rip-off is off putting
I would say for racing or a ton of XC you are probably right, but for our trails we will soon see. As far as rip-off goes, that's not for us to decide, that's for y'all as individuals to decide.
Umm prolly not first
🏆🥇👍
I'm building an ebike and that is the kind of dropper i am using. because ll mostly be on road dropping the post is a performance/comfort feature. up for performance, down for comfort.
