The road presence of this motorcycle is really good 👍
I upgraded from a 100cc(Discover 100M) bike to this bike.
This has a lot of power and is nimble enough to ride in Metropolitan city traffic.
Since bigger bikes are not that much great to ride in traffic conditions I was little bit skeptical at first but once I started to ride on this, I got used to it quickly.
Engine doesn't heat up to extreme temp, oil cooling does its job even in busiest traffic conditions.
On highways you can comfortably cruise at 110 - 120Kmph.
The dual channel ABS brakes are so good, that you don't have to worry about the disk locks or losing control of your bike on hard braking.
The cons which I think about this motorcycle are:
The headlights are not so good in iluminating the roads in night traffic conditions.
The seat is inclined so its not so comfortable for long commute distances (say 1Hr in busy traffic), you'll get pushed to the fuel tank while braking.
Not at all comfortable for a pillion rider.
And I got know from local mechanic shops that gixxer's spare parts are to hard find.
In Karnataka(Bengaluru) the OTR is Rs2.06L

I did a 500km ride in a day in sf 250,the engine is real gem, was able to cruise at 100-120 all day, didn't feel heat at any point of time, I got the milage of nearly 36kmpl,the only letdown was headlights because its bright when looked from outside, it has a good throw but absolutely no spread, but the bike has a soul unlike other bikes. 😊
is it comfortable? which is better for long ride gixxer sf 250 or gixxer 250?
@@nirmalyamisra For touring also sf is good, but you can't sit upright, u have to lean slightly, u won't face any problem if you get accustomed to that position, I haven't ridden gixxer 250, so not sure about that😊

This bike is truly a jack of all trades and has what it takes to keep the owner happy for a very long time to come.
How is it for touring?
This bike is such a beauty. Every time I park this bike, I turn around and admire its beauty. And every time I ride it, it puts a smile on my face. The problem with most reviewers are they give their verdict after just riding for couple of hours or days. While owning a bike or car is really a long term experience. Gixxer 250 naked is my fav right now for city commuting without sacrificing the performance and thrill while I use my R6 for the tracks and highway long rides

@@foruonly7283 It is on the stiffer side but the rear suspension is adjustable. If you're mainly commuting on bad city roads I recommend softening the suspension by 1-2 levels depending on your weight and if you carry a pillion a lot

Gixxer 155 rider from 2016 till now......i hv also naked version not sf......and i like it......Many long rides, more than 9000 km, many memories ❤️

My Himalayan has 5000 kms in 2 months.
Its fortunetly oil cooling...yea best in class cooling system any thing above 150 to 600cc..no heating and less maintaince...

well if you are talking about the ug3 dominar...1•its about 30 kilos lighter 2•the dominars engine is just an overkill for city riding it doesn't give you the feel of Street fighter 3•better fuel economy..and well i guess thats pretty much it.

Bought it last week. An absolute beast with lows and mids, you need to ride it to know it. 350 km down, can't wait to get it on the freeway.
How is the headlight performance at highway and city?.... How is the breaks?.....does pillion seat is uncomfortable?

@@debasishborah1360 Led headlights are nice and bright both on highways and city roads, breaks are not very sharp but dual channel abs does a great job, also, it can be tuned on the first service . Pillion seat hight is quite high and might not be very comfortable for short people to get on and off. On top of that, the small seat could be an issue for heavy pillion. I would recommend riding this bike solo for a better experience.

I am really confused between gixxer 250 (1.9lakh)and fz250(1.8lakh) . Design doesn't matter to me Taken test ride of both today still confused. Kindly enlighten about long usage on every review i read seat and suspension is not as comfortable as fz. I don't want to regret buying later as both are around 2 lakhs.
