It is interesting, horst has obviously a completely different taste buds than ralfy who has been totally disappointed of this whisky. I'll have to try it by myself.

100% peated: it simply means they only used malted barley, dried with peat-fire smoke...not that complicated
Haven't found an Ardmore I like yet, they're very hard to drink imo :/

By 100% peated they mean all the malted barley used to make this whisky was smoked. Some of their other expressions use a mixture of peated and unpeated barley.
