With Ryan's ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxy_pn55PK60wAV3X_C_RoLS_67mNonoCE plan, I was like one taken by the hand and led step by step from start to finish. Thank you very much Ryan!
The problem with tiny houses are that the more popular they get, the more expensive they get and more restrictive laws are passed by states, cities, counties in order to even have them.
They are definitely getting more expensive but no one forces a person to spend more money. Also, these tiny houses are generally outlawed everywhere and restrictions appear to be being lifted.
Plus I need a yard for my dogs to be able to go out and play safely. But that would mean living all alone out in the middle of nowhere. No, thanks. I wish they had communities, like little neighborhoods with tiny homes already on lots.
What a precious couple. This is the most helpful tiny house video available. How gracious of them to share their knowledge and enjoyed seeing their work. Thanks for this.
This is one of the best "helpful hints" tiny house videos I've ever seen! Understanding where to start is the hardest part. For newbies to the movement this is the perfect "spark" of information to get them excited, focused and better mentally organized. You would all make great tiny house teachers! Thank you so much and as my grand-baby says, " Go! Go! Go! "
Which of these Tiny Houses would you want to rent for the weekend? Names: Barn, Caboose, Gypsy, Beach, Cottage (the Victorian one), Bamboo, Log Cabin, or Modern.
I genuinely NEVER comment on any videos, but I’ve been sucked into the tiny house videos big time. I’ve been contemplating the move toward it for the last few months and this is by far one of the best videos. I love the tours, don’t get me wrong, but tips and tricks, or practicality, is a win for me! Thanks so much for sharing!!
Bruce and Pam have put in a lot of time and effort to design tiny homes that can be enjoyed while on a trip to Portland or can be a weekend away if you live close by. They all look cozy.
my husband and i stayed in a tiny house in Seattle for our honeymoon and it was an amazing experience ! so now we are thinking about making one ! This couple is so cuute!
Really liked this! With son and daughter a tiny house is not an immediate option but a bit bigger (not for the road) is for me definitetly an option and watching all these tiny houses give me lots of ideas!
Gotta love the Tiny Digs! Much respect to Pam and Bruce! I had no idea he was a retired Chiropractor! That just makes me respect them even more now! Now all I have to do is get my trailer and some more supplies and I can begin! 🖤🦇
Ventilation and moisture Control are my two biggest concerns, living in a condo we're bathrooms and bedrooms don't have good windows and ventilation systems, you want to make sure that you can control that so your walls and your materials and everything doesn't get messed up.
I love the Victorian on and the beach one second. The Victorian one is the cutest and prettiest tiny house I've looked at so far. So much character has been packed into it. Beautiful.
What a great collection of tiny houses! I was aware of this place, but hadn't seen any details on the individual tiny houses, so it was great to see them up close and the insides. I love that they have so much interesting diversity in the designs/styles. My favorite is a toss up between the white victorian tiny house and the beachy shingle sided tiny house. They look so inviting and comfortable.
I absolutely love your videos and have been binge watching them all! My daughter and I are so fascinated by Tiny Houses and are living this through you. 😊 Only thing I would love to suggest, if you dont mind...please bring back your original intro...the song playing showing the amazing people by all their unique houses really sets the tone and shows just how personal this lifestyle choice is. This is their LIVES, and we are being welcomed into their worlds and that song is just breathtaking. Anyways thanks for all you do and please keep making new videos!!
Man. I absolutely love every one of their homes. How fun that they were able to do themed homes. Much more fun then when designing just one home and can’t decide which style u wanna go with. Lol. I love the Victorian one the best. Then I see the modern and think, oh! That’s cute too. All of them are magnificent.
The Victorian house is so beautiful. Also I think it's good to try to get a low trailor or to try to cover up the gap between the trailor and the floor with some wooden walls extension. Makes it look more sturdy
I'm looking at tons of tiny houses to kind of gauge what to put in a tiny house design program I'm working on. I'm really trying to simplify the design process so that it is cheaper and easier to build. Thank you for the tips on what to avoid!
I'm currently making a design tool for tiny houses that I plan to put online. It will design the shell and give a cost upfront and do most of the pre-engineering. It's a work in progress but coming along nicely. I'm looking for input by people that are planning to build a tiny house sometime soon so i can add the features people are looking for.
Great tips, all of them. Love, love, love the victorian cottage, adorable. My second choice would be the caboose, also adorable. Great job on all the decor & themes...
Wow, It seems so very long ago when I 1st discovered this video with these great people that have proved to be such a great family team & so very kind to do this for us! I had been preparing to build one for some time when I found them however I had watched many videos and bought many books but still hadn't come to find my perfect style .. that is until meeting these great people via this video and just from what I was able to see and with my laptop and I-phone I'd pause & take a pic over and 0ver again till I had every view of the white house! I can't thank you enough for all the info. and all the great work in building all these different types. Today it is almost complete and I can't wait to move in it, I would have loved to have seen the whole house inside and wonder how different or similar they look. I did not have it built with a trailer though because I so wanted to have it on some family lake land not only for the location but due to me being a landscape designer, & my love of lush flowers, flowering shrubs, flowering vine climbers, and beautiful flowering trees as well as other trees and greenery. Also, I had a 10ft.by 10 ft. porch with dentil molding around the roof and beautiful millwork every place I could possibly add it! Now though I must say I do regret not having it on wheels as now I just became a grandmother to the most precious baby girl and she lives in Naples, Fl. and I'm not sure what to do as now I'd love to winter in Naples and summer here in Nc.! I don't know if one can even be added or not, But we shall see & either way I just love it and can't wait as I stated earlier to actually move in. Again I say thank you to this beautiful couple for all their great advice and works of art,, as they were truly a Godsend to me & I'm sure many of you!!!!
That white one reminds me of the type my Swed side of the family built when they first came over. Great tips. We always took photos of walls for home building just to know where everything was for future needs.
The white Victorian tiny house is my favorite!! What creative ideas and Inspirational ways of building tiny houses.thanks for sharing. My husband bought me a studio for my art and gardening creativity a little over 200 square feet. It’s not insulated and it snows in Michigan so I cannot use it in winter.Alina from Battle Creek Michigan
The Victorian one called The Cottage is gorgeous!! Like a fancy birdhouse for people 😸 Great job on all of them. Would love to stay in a tiny house hotel! Love the creativity and variety. Thanks for the tips!
I loved this video. What a great couple. My two favorites were the Victorian, my wife would love it & the Caboose. I’ve always wanted a caboose. I hope they have more in depth tours of their individual homes.
What a great couple - looks like this is really fun for them. And wonderful tips! As I was watching, I noticed all those steps and ladders and had to wonder... how does Tiny Digs deal with ADA compliance, being that they're classified as a hotel? Wouldn't the law require at least one of their units to be wheelchair accessible, with grab handles in a wider bathroom, etc.?
What a lovely couple. Are you going to feature the individual houses too? I would love to see the bamboo house in more detail...or all the houses in more details
I'm goin to do a conversion on mine soon. This will help a lot. I'm planning to use as much pull down stuff like steps, bed, tables as possible. Insulation plumbing hvac solar are all the critical questions I have.
My dear Father built a wall mounted fold up table in the home I grew up in. He and my Mother made a wonderful mosaic on the room side. I'll never need a kitchen table in my tiny home!
Another thing to consider about stairs vs a ladder: I used to rent a bungalow w/a sleeping loft, and when I'd go up the ladder, dust/pet hair/etc would fall through to the area down below. Which was my kitchen.
I'd stay in them all to get the feel of each one and then pick the Victorian (white) one ♥️. Kudos to this couple who had a vision and made it come true. Well done !!! 👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I always enjoy watching your videos! Thank you! It makes me really appreciate you after I see a horrible one. One I just watched was so fast and disorientating!

True
Time to get arrested then

I agree, i think it looks like an adult doll house. I would like it a little larger to put on a lot, but that's the one i'd choose to live in.

Tiny House Giant Journey bamboo
Barn! It's the best.
Modern for me
G*psy is a slur. You shouldn't use that word unless you are Romani/Roma. Please change that name.
Rachel go hug a tree
Very very helpful! My teenage daughter is trying her hand at building a tiny house for her senior project. This information was priceless. Thank u!!!
we need a tour of the white one!
I love that
I dont think you like that because
It has no bathroom
Yes WE do😄
Here's the link to the Cottage tiny house that Jenn posted in Feb, 2020- ua-cam.com/video/oMJUkGDGKJg/v-deo.html
@@timeout9750 What are you on about, there is a bathroom, with a proper flushing toilet. And the shower is luxe.

These people are real masters. I love their work. My best wishes for them from Andorra (Europe).
I am happy as a newbie I stumbled on this site. I have my subfloor on my 24ft. trailer for my tiny Victorian now and this is timely advice!

Thank you all for a fun, educational video.
really great tips, I was expecting trivial frivolous comments but these are very usable
As a person starting to design our tiny home this was a great topic to focus on. Thank you!
I already have my tiny house planned out. I get so excited watching videos like this
Great tips, all of them. Love, love, love the victorian cottage, adorable. My second choice would be the caboose, also adorable. Great job on all the decor & themes...
Same choices as me!
Love the Victorian house it appears to be very light gray and white trim wish we could have seen the inside very lovely and unique

Excellent tips from people who clearly know their stuff. Cheers.
No favs, how can you even suggest picking one? All awesome! Wonderful builds, wonderfully furnished. Tfs!
I’ve wanted a vargo for YEARS...to both traveling and when at home, a very groovy guest cottage! I also love the teeny Victorian.

Had those same thoughts myself.
That’s a great question. I haven’t seen ramps or lowering beds or anything Without stairs/ladder etc
What a lovely couple. Are you going to feature the individual houses too? I would love to see the bamboo house in more detail...or all the houses in more details

Gross. Good point
Really great tips. I had never though about the wheel wells or about installing a bathroom shower first before the walls went up.
Very informative I love this place it is the first place I'm going to visit if ever on that side of the country
