It depends on your usage, if you want to use laptop for note taking using stylus and fully foldable configuration as tablet, I will suggest touch screen better for college and students.

If you drop any any laptop that may break, same with touch screen.
For normal usage there is no issue for my lenovo yoga laptop it is 4 years still no issue.

most of new laptop nowadays come with stylus pen support. But not all touch support pen, you have to check specification of laptop.

If you have moderate usage like document editing, net surfing, media playing i3 is ok. For some more heavy task i5 or amd ryzen 5 are ok.

Generally intel versions have good battery life compared to ryzen processor.

So as per your need decide function of laptop don't affect with touch like processing that depends on processor and ram etc.

In touch screen laptop you may not found gpu these are having integrated graphics with intel.

In laptop you can do productive works like large excel, word files, video edit, high resolution games, auto cad.
Touch laptop is not as much touch and pencil friendly as ipad. But you can use as tablet for sometime.
Also weight matters, ipad is easy to handle in hands, for laptop you need table or lap to work due to weight.

no stylus pen will not create scratch, they are designed to work on touch screen for long time as like ipad.

@@prathamverma410 I got it in 73k. 16 gb RAM with AMD RYZEN 5 processor. Battery aaram se din bhar chal jata hai one charge pe around 9 hrs. Performance is good as I use it for studying mainly. Not good for gaming. Stylus support is good. One con is you do not get any magnet like thing to attach stylus with the laptop. You can also look for HP Envy series having same specification and available at same price.

It depends on how roughly you use laptop, I using touch screen from last 3 years no issue in touch or screen hinges.
If you drop or roughly use the screen than there may be issue as like mobile. But when we use laptop on table we hardly need much touch screen. During travel, sofa, bed etc. we require touch mostly.

For the purpose of video editing and photo editing you need a laptop with high performance cpu and gpu. In core i3 also you can do editing but it will take some time.
Latest i3 processor are now more performing than older i5 processors.

for coding touch screen is not much important, but if you want to use laptop for coding as well as other application like note taking for college you can buy two in one laptop.
I will suggest you go for i5 or i7 processor or ryzen 5 or 7 with at least 8gb of ram.
If you are also thinking for app development or game development than graphics card should also be there. For this a gaming laptop with good configuration is good.
For general coding and college asus flip is ok.
