- The last couple days I was away to visit @Substan and it has been a pleasure to be there, make some music, play „Magic The Gathering“ and just hang out with his family. I am always learning a lot when I am in his studio. This time I realized the power of fx plugins. Seriously it is pretty amazing what you can do in the box. Feels like I was a bit to obsessed with the DAWless approach….Right now I am away again, but on the one day I was at home I wanted to record a quick video before heading south. The result became a session with old Digitone stems and new drum samples/loops.

One of the nicest ways to use the sp. it’s been typecast as hip hop and lo-fi. It does alot more than that.
Thank you very much for the compliment:). I noticed that too with the lofi/hiphop. Same with the Polyend Tracker content and idm stuff. In the end they are just samplers and can do any type of music!

Very very cool. I got this vibe like being in the heart of a city during a rainstorm, but instead of it being the realworld, it's some kind of retro future steam punk version of new york with the lowong yellow gas lamps lighting up the rain and golden giant mechanical clock towers with lavish gargoyles. Probably not the intention, but hell, it painted a picture for me.
This is exactly what I like to evoke with my music. I very much appreciate these kinds of comments:)
