Fascinating! Beautiful country!
You guys have filled a big hole after si and Davey stopped posting. It's just a whole other world to me watching you shoot in beautiful South Africa but so inspiring. Got my buddy coming over tonight, going to zero some new pellets and go night hunting. Cheers Matt take care
Matt, yourself and gehrard are my favorite youtubers..you're whole crew is on my subscribed list. I.V., ted, plinkster and Gerhard. I love all you guys. All of your videos are superb Matt. Keep it up. Hopefully someday I can bump into you. Tbh, I'd love sit down and pick your brain. I've learned alot from you along the way. You have a way of explaining things to us so we understand them the first time, you make information so easy to sink in. I appreciate all you do, I appreciate your videos. Keep them up, you have me checking UA-cam numerous times a day for new videos. Keep it up Matt you are the man
Thanks a Stack Guys, so great to see The Two of you together. Stunning Scenery, Brilliant footage and Commentary. Mooi Bly, Groete uit New Zealand
That two'fer at 5:50ish was epic. Awesome video guy's as always.
that's even a double kill !!!!
What a wonderful way to spend a day with an old friend!
High power and amazing accuracy.. good job Matt and gerhard👍
Do
I noted when terminal ballistics was testing hollow points with jacked bullets on pistol rounds, some of the pictures of round soft nose un jacket bullets actually had some really nice mushrooms. LBT used lead with many high power pistol rounds with great effects. And again we see the same thing. The hardness of the lead compound and the shape seems to be a big key.
LBT was able to add gas checks to eliminate leading and stripping from high velocity to rifle speeds.
Great work!!
Beautiful shots.....enjoyed so much...hey Matt congratulations on your wedding though it's late😂😂😂
Thank you for the video. Really enjoyed the action and comments.
I loved every 32 min and 17 sec of this video.
Spectacular!
I am from central NSW and I love the videos of the country where you are shooting. The scenery is spectacular.
Great video bro!
I'm always impressed with your output, not only for the quality shooting but also for the fantastic panoramas of your South African countryside. would love to visit one day.
Every time I see there's a video, I now what I'm going to enjoy watching while I eat lunch. Always entertaining, and informative. Thanks @AirArmsHuntingSA
Matt congrats on your marriage.👍 I am glad to watch another ox wagon. I will probably not make a S. A. Hunt . I will just have to enjoy your ability. Thanks for all your work. Dave Minnesota
I am jealous! Fantastic scope cam footage.
I agree with you, Matt, the impact is like second nature. I’ve been struggling so much with the new Pantera starting to second-guess it.
Always satisfying. Love it FX Impact
I haven't watched in a while, so I'll binge this weekend. Great new music, and awesome content as well!
Love your vids. Your productions have come a long way over the years. One of the best hunting channels out there. Very informative, with some great cinematography to boot. And not to mention, some of the best hunting vision on a regular basis.
Would love to go to S.A. one day.
@7:39 your slug is spot on "zero." With fantastic camera footage. Good shooting!
Desi video is happy 32 minutes of my day ☺️
The drone footage is beautiful… really seasons this video perfectly. That’s snake looks a lot like breakfast sausage we have in the USA. Regardless that looks fit for a king! Those critters look like a cross between a fox and a groundhog. We don’t have anything like that in the states
Loving your videos - I lived in SA for 8 years and your clips remind me of how beautiful the country is. I'm from the UK and with all the political crap around Brexit, I wish I was back in SA. Looking at that Boerewors (Snake ha ha)frying in the pan made me hungry - thinking of some stywe pap and gravy to go with that - shame we don't have it here.
I like your shirts! One problem I'm 6' 5" and all the cool channels have shirts, but nothing in a tall size😢 love your show! Saving for the FX impact M4 because of your show!
You’ve taken air gun hunting to a whole new level. Good for you Matt.
Ya ya ya. Al email. You
Fantastic shooting ability, I’ve watched you shooting over 500m in the past ; but lead into water? You seem to use it as a ranging medium, not cool in the 21st century. I shoot invasive species. You are just maximising citrus fruit growth for 50 m along a small edge of the industrial farming style. Please let the little fellas have a meal . I once knew an old guy who used to live in East Africa and he used to hunt lions with a spear. Not joking, just a spear . Give that a go and I’ll subscribe as will a couple of million more followers 👍
Matt; Those slugs that look like rimfire bullets have an effective bearing length that may be too short. That could allow some angularity with the bore, especially on loading. That could cause some cork-screwing...
many thanks really enjoyed this episode
A heavier slug just penetrates so much better and the projectile speed is well maintained.
My view is that a magazine for this will be brilliant!
Very well done once more.
Great shots. Fantastic scenery .👍👍
I think it's definitely worth modding the magazine for the 40 grain slugs I've already modded mine and printed out special covers
Awesome hunting lads🏴
best rifles. and incredible shooting way
Great pest control. Never seen a lobster hunt before LOL. Great shooting. Clean, humane kills. Thanks for the adventure.
As an American this is so interesting to see such seriousness regarding what is sold as a child's toy here.
Well the children’s toys will lately give you a bruise, his rifle will kill you if he aims in the right spot
Your videos are great; I would give a thousand likes if possible; A big hug from Brazil to you!!!!
Love your videos. Beautiful countryside. I hear you guys have some giant largemouth bass out there too.
That looks real fun what a way to spend a day with your gun couldn’t ask for anything better
I have one of your special built guns a LOVE it. I took it out to a gun range an people could not believe it was a Air gun. Out shot alot of people at 50 an 100 yards .
Beautiful country and dang that looks fun !
Can we just give props to the drone shots!
Speaking from experience, you're going to regret every minute of unprotected UV exposure. It will all appear with a vengeance around 50 (comes faster than you can anticipate) Expect hundreds, if not thousands of cryo-surgery spot removals for precancerous keratosis. My advice would be to wear wide brim hats and long sleeve wet shirts which you can spray with water (especially your arms) to keep cool. It works far better than short sleeves and sunblock. White skin can burn in 10 minutes, probably faster in SA with its high UV index.
I'm 66 - I promise I've had no cryo-anythings. Nor have millions of other people
Not true, it depends on the person and how well their skin can handle sun exposure. Some people make more melanin than others.
@@JonFrumTheFirst They probably look like they haven't been treated and soon will die of metastatic melanoma
@@johnzeetee6747 Really? I never noticed. Some people have more melanin? Impervious to UVA and UVB? Amazing.
I'm an indian, i work 8 hours a day under the sun and so did my forefathers before me. No one went through anything like you mentioned. May be its the type of body make and part of the planet where we live in.
I believe the contour on the bottom of the pellet increases the surface area thus increasing the presure on it.
I'm jealous. Looks like fun. I have a .25 Uragan King that loves slugs! .31gr is the heaviest i've shot out of it. I have some 43gr and 55gr slugs on their way. I'm not sure if I will have to load them single or if they will fit on the magazine. Keep the great vids coming.
Thanks for the video 👍 🇨🇦
Brilliant video guys.. Love south Africa😍😍❤️🇬🇧stay safe and sound mate 👍👍👍👍
Amazing Mat..I'm from Indonesia always present...
The farmers should be happy with you two , at least 16 .
Another fine product from the good old Netherlands!
Brilliant video as always. You should try painting the back of the pellets with a bright colour so you can really see the pellet fly, edgun leshiy has some good videos of how he does it
Living in Alaska, guns, guns in shirts, guns on hats, yeah we do that here!
Happy Christmas to you and family, and to all the other blokes and lasses. Stay healthy.
Great freaking beautiful video.
The PTE is an outstanding work of art and I admire the centerfire design... but it really doesn't hold a candle to the Matt Dubber Impact. I'll give up the extra 10ft lbs for the non hold sensitive, mag fed, ultra light, ultra compact FX Impact.
This looks as much fun as Pig or Deer hunting, but with no carrying the beast out of the bush, nice work fellas, from NZ.
I envy you guys. You have nice weather all the time ,you have some really nice equipment, and all kinds of opportunity to go hunting the abundance of wildlife. I enjoy watching it all.
Well done, great video, great music also
Some Monster hunting !
Great video you guys and excellent shooting. Cheers
Matt and Gerard,
What a great video from two pals. I want to thank you both for bringing me along on you journey through some of South Africa's hills. You guys are so far away, but have managed to put us all right in the action. From the fresh cups of morning coffee, sizzling sausage and eggs, to those powerful projectile impacts cracking into the heads of dussies, this was as fun a video to watch as it was to admire those beautiful air rifle tools. On a Friday evening and from VA in the States, thanks again guy. Stay safe!
P.S. I would love to purchase some, but can't find those JAVELIN slugs anywhere in the US!
It’s a pleasure! We have a large shipment of Javelin slugs on their way in a container, there are just some logistical hoops we have to jump through with customs.
@@AirArmsHuntingSA Thank you.
Amazing video as always.
FANTASTIC Video.... as usual chaps
Fantastic video
I think you should add "clean and cook" to your videos anyways nice content as usual
They are given to the farm workers, who need the meat more than we do. Not really very polite to film them eating!
@@AirArmsHuntingSA the link the site for your FX airgun isn’t working.
@@AirArmsHuntingSA stop using ! Your overseas supporters don't understand the need to shout in this beloved land of ours.
@@AirArmsHuntingSA ok nice... but i was actually referring to you doing a catch clean and cook lol i think it will be cool though love your content anyways
@@AirArmsHuntingSA This reply earned you a "👍"!
Get one on your back that says 'shoosh..we hunting food"
Awesome video guys that gun sounds like my taipan vet long 25 cal on full power Awesome shooting guys thanks for sharing bsafe
muy bueno excelente imágenes con dron felicitaciones
I am hooked. Thank you
Matt, you are excellent shot. Good Stuff!
i like to watch your videos... and im happy to see the airgun you use to eleminate the pest.. strong and accurate
Lekker, just what I was after. Dankie ouens 😊
Amazing scenery! Very interesting to see the crop damage and how it contours right around where the Dassies live. Great shooting as always!
PTE + hollow point slug will be awesome
Awesome video Matt👊
I would love to see a hunt in zimbabwe
Thanks for making this video
Absolutely the best way to start a Friday!!
The best video and hunting....👍👍I'm From Indonesia 🇮🇩
The way you look now, Matt, gives a whole new meaning to the good old, Afrikaans word for Englishman...ROODBAADJE....................lollol. Greetz from the Netherlands!
En Afrikaaners noem die Engelse rooinekke :)
@@rickoshea8138 es ook een baie goei naam vir die kakies.......lollol.
@@janrobertbos Ja
Great shooting!!!
I like the shot in the barrel, i wish for 90deg. and some sheets of newspaper on top of the water surface...thinking of a slomo underwatercam.../fishtank with one side made of truck tube rubber sheet.
Thx for the nice footage so far.
13:17 It's better to have a "I"d rather be hunting shirt" while hunting, than a "I'm currently hunting" shirt in public LOL
Yes I would love to have a modify magazine for the Impact to shoot 40 or more grain slugs in .22 it's way more convenient then single loading, also love all your video nice job.......
Speechless video
Koffie met melk .......melk met een beetje koffie lol 😂
good shots congratulations.
and the scoop very nice for the long range... i wish i could have one.. also the airgun..
I wonder if you have tried with the slugs you use what in the States is called dieseling? Just a little Vaseline petroleum jelly in the pocket in the back of the slug actually improves it's shooting stats. delivering more ft. pounds to the target.
That works with spring air rifles, not PCPs. The sudden compression in a "springer" heats the air enough to ignite combustible lubricants. The heat generated when compressing air for a PCP is rejected at the compressor.
You get more power with dieseling springers, but it is very hard on their seals and spring. A clown-show that damages your airgun pretty quickly.
Getting consistent dieseling is difficult and pellets are not accurate if you shoot them too fast. So, just say no to deliberate dieseling.
I enjoy watching your channel. 😎🇺🇸
Im a big fan from the philippines sir...
A curious thing I noticed. The Monster cans you used in this video have nine time world champion Valentino Rossi's nick name on them. He retired the same year from Moto GP. Hope you didn't hurt his feelings lol.
Keep up the good work. You guys have a great balance on your channels down there in SA.
Maybe you can start manufacturing slugs here in the States. Huge potential since burner ammo is hard to find and laws are getting stricter for powder burners
Take care.🏍
Nice shot sir someday i have air rifle like that FX.
SINS PUNISHES..PAY BACK 🔥🔥🔥🔥WAGES FOR SINS..SUFFER TILL DEATH 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ummm....what ?
You are demented
those are some seriously beautiful rifles. their website doesnt say much, but what does a setup like in the video run?
Great job mate
I can't believe the stopping power these air rifles
Luke and matt did put on some weight
Great shoots
The solid slugs hitting off center of nose is from yaw as the slug is spinning, going from air to much denser water. You would see the slug curl like a curve ball if you took high speed video through water or ballistic gel
I love the Sony footage..gotta look into that
Your next shirt should say " if I'm not hunting , I'm thinking about hunting !"
