My name is James Miller. I am a 17 Cinematographer/photographer. After owning my Phantom 4 pro plus for just over 3 months i have have been out filming most days of the week to get this video done.
I wanted to post this video to show the true beauty of the city i live in and to give others who haven't been here a glimpse of how spectacular it really is.

I left Newy about 15 years ago and live in Florida now. I love Florida, but sure miss the heck out of Newy. I took so much for granted while growing up there, this brings a lot back, thank you. Nice work.

I’m sorry, I realise how late I am to reply, but I do need to ask.
I left Newcastle late 2018, and in the last month I’ve been hit with this wave of homesickness I haven’t felt since we first moved.

Nice one James. Killing it at 17. Would do wonders with a tighter edit, would be cool to see some night footage or even some of the fishing boats - a bit more variation in footage. Could be gold.

@@tindrar3111 depends on the area. They’re are definitely certain areas which have higher crime rates but that’s pretty much any place in Australia nowadays.

Awesome video! Just be careful though. This footage clearly shows you breaking a few laws (such as flying in built up areas) and CASA are getting worse for dishing out fines. Even if you have a remote pilot’s licence (as I do) you still need to fly under an operator’s certificate to fly outside standard operating conditions. Don’t mean to sound like a kill joy, just letting you know 😉 Keep up the good work! 👍🏼
Absolutely agree Tom, these shots are the kind we all want but the law prevents us from getting them, the laws are there for a reason and we should abide by them before a serious incident happens and ruins it for all of us drone pilots, but that being said James is good at it and only 17, man he's going places thats for sure but lets hope those places aren't prisons, great job with the video James all the same.
