আমাদের ঐতিহ্যবাহী সংস্কৃতি বিশ্বের অন্য জাতি থেকে করেছে আলাদা বৈশিষ্ট্যমণ্ডিত। তবে এখন আর খুব একটা দৃশ্যমান নয় বাংলা ও বাঙালি জাতির সংস্কৃতির ঐতিহ্যগুলো।
আধুনিকতার স্পর্শ আর সভ্যতার ক্রমবিকাশে হাজার বছরের লালিত বাংলার প্রতিটি ক্ষেত্র আজ বদলে যাচ্ছে। পরিবর্তন হচ্ছে গ্রামবাংলার দৃশ্যপট। অতীতে গ্রামবাংলার প্রতিটি বাড়িতে ছিল আমোদণ্ডপ্রমোদের কতই না আয়োজন! দিনান্তের ক্লান্তি শেষে প্রতিটি মানুষ তাদের নিজস্ব নীড়ে ফিরে রাতে বিনোদনের উদ্দেশ্যে সবাই একত্র হয়ে একটা বাড়িতে আসর জমাত। তখন বিনোদনের মাধ্যম হিসেবে ছিল বিভিন্ন পদাবলী কীর্তন, লীলা কীর্তন, পালাগান, যাত্রা, জারিণ্ডসারি, পল্লীগীতি, ভাটিয়ালি, মারফতি, ভাওয়াইয়া, বাউল গানের আসর। পুথিপাঠও ছিল তাদের মধ্যে অন্যতম।
আমাদের গ্রামবাংলার ঐতিহ্যগুলোর মধ্যে অন্যতম ছিল গরুর গাড়ি, ঢেঁকি, জাঁতা, মাটির ঘর, লাঙলণ্ডজোয়াল এবং বিভিন্ন ধরনের ঐতিহ্যবাহী গ্রামীণ খেলাধুলা।
আমরা আপনাদের মনরঞ্জন / বিনোদনের এর জন্য, গ্রামীণ তথা পল্লী অঞ্চলের জনপ্রিয় সব গান নিয়ে (ভাওয়াইয়া, পালাগান, পল্লীগীতি, ভাটিয়ালি, মারফতি, বাউল গান) হাজির হবো অতি শীঘই ।
