Although I have a strong affinity for this person, it's probably time to move on and end this connection as I want to pursue other options...it's not fair to me to hold on. I just do not want to be hurt again--he is obviously a player and he cannot get beyond that. If this connection is meant to be, it will happen in the future but I cannot promise anything. No doubt, once I move on, I do have a tendency to lose interest. If not, then the future is open to all possibilities.
