Thanks for the kind words everyone. I haven't gone anywhere. Between 2 podcasts and the full time job of running The Hand Tool School as well as running marketing for a lumber company I have been a bit busy. Nice to be received so warmly after 10 months without uploading a video. More to come this month.

Since Shannon doesn’t upload anymore, I assume I discovered time travel in my sleep and woke up in the past.

Dude I’ve binged watched probably every one of your live streams on here and the level of detail you go into on topics not too many people cover and your way of explaining things is simply the best. This channel along with the lumber update podcast has made me such a better hand tool woodworker. Thank you!

Thanks for the Christmas present video, not wanting to mention that time has passed a bit since the original content was filmed and the greying at the temples, Marc has embraced his maturity also but the young whipper snapper Carmona is a few years out.

My experience with the shaving rollong up is the other way around: if the chipbreaker is set super close to the edge, the shavings come out as a straight ribbon. If I move it back (or have no chipbreaker), the shaving curls.

Good video. It's sharpness and setting. If that is not working cabinet scraper no. 80 does.

I do love a good scraper but I my go to is a card scraper. I tend to use my 80 as a rougher tool.
